the parents that way, when we get to see people who are going to the extent of killing their own kin we are extremely shocked of that and the directors gave a perspective of their thinking,how the society reacts etc.. the solution does not add solely lie in these kind of people stopping honour killing, the mindset of the whole society has to change and there should be some form of a non sexist, non racial social security among people so that they do not depend on castes/religion/gender

The best so far. Clear opinion. This has been my opinion about the movie too. Boy, people are offended by my opinion. I strongly feel the focus has been on the casteist killer (father's, families) rather than seeking to connect with the victims. Which should have been the message.

Saathar and thangam portions were remembering the kind of Money Heist's Berlin and Palermo characterisation.
Exactly this. I thought Love Panna Vitranum was the most tone-deaf out of all of the short films. The amount of time the director spent to make the father character a sympathetic one should've been spent on the girl he and his acolytes murdered brutally. And yes, Oor Iravu was the most disturbing and effective of all of them and I liked that a transwoman was humanised.
