i am also an owner of commando bs3 model. i am from guwahati. here is the problem i think that the technicians were not trained enough to Install the new parts. i am facing so much of problem with the engine vibration. sudden changes in transmission. sometimes it runs smoothly and after a little bit of time the engine vibrates. i have changed the clutch, chain sprocket etc. but didn't get any change. so many times i went to service center but nothing to say. suggest me something
I bought this bike recently. I have no such problem. And it's not Chinese bike. It's indo Chinese bike. And Royal Enfield is British bike. And I hate British. So went for this one and it's worth.
That was a nice review. Though the bike has the looks it is very humiliating because its under powered. For 2 lakhs they don't even give a rear disc brake. I visited a showroom once. 200 kms from my town. I wanted to buy the renegade sports s (silver color). I asked if they could deliver the bike to my residence and told them i'll pay whatever the charge is. They said they don't have time (!!!!!!). We must throw the money buy the bike and must run away from them that's what they think. Also in case of any problems or breakdown there is no guarantee for their on road assistance. They fix a distance limit from their service centre and beyond that they refuse to come. This is very atrocious. They know very well what they sell is a cruiser and a rider would take it to long distances so how can they point out distance limits? We can buy a bajaj dominar for this price. Its far better in power, top speed and all other things. With limited service centres they must be very responsible.But they are not. They never care about the customers. Though i like the renegade bikes i dropped the idea of buying one.

You need good torque on your bike for it to be called a 'cruiser' . This thing has just 21 lol. How can it cruise through highway roads without good torque?

Yes Nakul... All the issues you mentioned are true. I own a renegade sports and it's been 9 months I am driving this Chinese crap. Build quality is really cheap, body is made up of very thin metal sheet and plastic quality is third grade. Engine performance is nowhere close to 25 BHP, rear brake has no feel, front brake is spongy, engine vibrations are too much and can be felt at handle bar and under the seats, coolant leakage and engine stopping due to clutch missing issue is still there. Company service guys have no clue how to resolve these issues hence can not recommend these bikes to anyone after riding 9000km.
Just dont buy .simply it outlook is only best.i buy 2 month before from the first day it cause me headache.if u want to start bike u need to wait 3 min after on the key.i ask for service engineer they said it is nature of bike they said u must keep bike cool place.

Even I face the same, the technician advised that due to heat air pressure is created in the fuel tank and the engine takes time to start. One way to get rid of this is that before starting the bike open the tank and close it so the warm air can evolve, though it is not a permanent solution but yes the bike takes LESS time to start. Second is the one your engineer advised, park in shade :/ .

Hey, stick what your heart says :) . Because you shouldnt regret on the buy. And its not a good idea to trust Honda for a new vehicle. If it comes when you are buying, consider that. Waiting for it is not at all a good choice.

defntly go for 350x have lot of issues in commando .... company replaced radiator ,clutch system, bolts , paint job getting peal off.... importantly during wet condition very bad ,,slides often .... this got looks ,good engine but transmission system is not up to the mark ,good mileage im getting it around 40kmpl at 50 to 60kmph long drive ...
