    Greetings Luis, HRU. Thanks for another comprehensive and on time review of the various lighting tools being introduced into the market. Just about to watch the second video review of molus g200.

    hi will it run at max power if i connect it to a smallrig vb99? and how much time will it run with the vb99 at max power if it can? and will it get hot and shut down before draining the battery?

    • @ArtVideoProductions
      @ArtVideoProductions  ปีที่แล้ว +1

      1- it depends how much PD power your vb99 is willing to deliver 60 watts, then yes.
      2- by watt-hours, your vb99 is a 99 watt hour battery against a 60 watt unit. With that said, you should be able to run the V60 for 1.6 hours. At MAX power, the V60 will require even more power. The vb99 delivering 100 watts is ideal. In that case, the V60 should run for about 1 hour.
      I’ve never used this light under extreme weather temperatures, so, I can’t tell.

    Regarding the battery/charging, you can just make the power power the light(and if anything is leftover charge battery) so that it's not discharging/charging at same time, not a big deal and pretty common. Do we know for a fact they don't do this?

    • @ArtVideoProductions
      @ArtVideoProductions  ปีที่แล้ว

      Charge any battery to 100% first, then you blast it to 100% on DC plugged in. It’s the healthiest thing to do.

    • @realMysta
      @realMysta ปีที่แล้ว

      @@ArtVideoProductions Yeah, not debating that(though healthier to taper speed at the top), I'm saying that you can have separate circuits while plugged in for it to run the lights off the power source instead of charging while running lights off the battery. Just requires different engineering.

    • @ArtVideoProductions
      @ArtVideoProductions  ปีที่แล้ว

      @@realMysta I keep telling all manufacturers to stop making built in batteries. I don’t like waiting to recharge. GVM listened. The BD45R is the only tube light that you can infinitely swap Sony batteries on it. They do the same now for wand lights.

    Thanks for the review mate, appreciate it. What is the name of the clamp and adaptors? I can't see it in the description?
    Thank you.

    Is the case the same size between the 100 & the 60?
    It’s interesting that the price is the same for the 100 & the 60 $$$

    • @ArtVideoProductions
      @ArtVideoProductions  ปีที่แล้ว

      Case is different size and the inside as well

    • @DavidWaldrip
      @DavidWaldrip ปีที่แล้ว

      @@ArtVideoProductions Awesome! So I’m guessing it’s smaller? Is it enough to make a difference ( size wise ) for travel.
      I have the 100 but travel full time in a small rv.
      Stay with 100 or get the 60?
      Your thoughts? Thanks for making this video!

    • @ArtVideoProductions
      @ArtVideoProductions  ปีที่แล้ว

      @@DavidWaldrip yes it’s smaller, but keep this in mind: the V60 will NOT output the max power with the battery only. You need a USBC or the DC jack. The 100 does output max with the battery.
      But I like the 60. I use it more than the 100. It’s also more comfortable to hold than the 100.
      But if you keep using these at 100%, the battery is irrelevant.
      One day hopefully I’ll be able to type something without having to come back and “edit” because of the iPhone typos by auto “guess” corrections.

    Hi I can't see the power bank in the description

  • @jean-philippegrignom6479
    @jean-philippegrignom6479 ปีที่แล้ว +1

    Damn it sounds like they didn't adresse the only issue i had with the light, the controls. at least if they made it work with the app, it would help a bit with the controls but it seems like all they did was make it look cool... I won't be updating 😢
    This light has ruined a few shots for me, because of the poor controls it sucks because its also made some shots possible. But in most cases id rather use a nanlight or ameran fixture despite the lower power...
    All because of shitty controls.

    • @ArtVideoProductions
      @ArtVideoProductions  ปีที่แล้ว +1

      I have to agree. I prefer ⬅️➡️ recess style controls instead of the dialing. They are very sensitive and can change colors of brightness accidentally.
