    Outstanding!!
I so agree with all you’ve shown here - fit is so important, love the grazing the body rather than clinging to the body.
Thank you for your work in sharing your wisdom and beauty with us all.

Thank you for yet again, a wonderful video full of info. I didn't know. I seem to sense what looks good but I never know why. You gave the reasons why the little changes work! Oh how I wish Shepherd's was here in Edmonton. You are all such beautiful women; inside and outside. I can't get over how many videos you do! What a hardworking group you are. It is MUCH appreciated.

Thanks to these videos, I’ve discovered my true body shape and why some things look better than others. It’s helping me pare down my wardrobe to the best looking outfits for my shape. I’m not sure if Sandra is also an hourglass, but I find everything she wears is what I would. I think it might have to do with her classic looks too.

Awesome demonstration! I now understand the hour glass shape so much better!

Really well done Elaine! You know your stuff. Here’s an idea - take each of the shapes - hourglass, Apple, inverted triangle etc. - and petite medium and tall and show how to pick a blazer and where it should best fall on the body. I bought a beautiful expensive blazer but it’s too long for my petite rectangular frame and now there’s nothing I can do about it. Altering would ruin it.

I am still amazed at the importance of knowing and working with your body shape - knowledge is powerful and Elaine conveys it magnificently - could we learn what undergarment cami she is using --did really look like a good one????

I'm an hourglass and found these tips so helpful. I find I tend to wear solids and I think incorporating belts and jewelry as my "color" might work

Wow! That was great! I am not the same shape as Elaine, but her ideas are helpful non the less.

Love your styling tips. I'm a rectangle with a barely there high waist. Appreciate some tips. Thanks

These were great tips! I’m 5’8” and knew longer tops looked best but didn’t really know why. All the tips were so helpful. Elaine, I bought the Spanner black dress you had on and would love to see some styling tips using Shepard’s necklaces and Suzy Roher scarves - I have many of both! Many thanks for all you do!

Thanks Elaine. I’m tall like you with a high waist and long body equal to long legs but I am not an hourglass but a column and yet all your tips work for me too. Thanks so much as always! ❤

Thanks Elaine for all you do. You give such good pointers on clothing and accessories. When you're not in the videos, it is just not the same.

I think that black outfit looks better with the top untucked with the belt. I’m an hourglass with a high waist but I’m only 5 foot tall. Bootcut jeans is what works for me.

So helpful and informative Elaine! I have a very similar body shape to yours and am 5’7. Short waisted with upper inside leg pouches. Loved the boot cut jeans on you and the width at the ankle is very flattering. I have the NYDJ Sherry jeans in Rinse. Would you recommend the boot cut over those for the hourglass. Also which jeans were they?
Thank you so much. Enjoy all your Ask Elaine videos. Tips for everyone.

Great job, you look lovely in everything. 😊 Maybe sometime you could talk about a full/padded/heavier? Whatever it’s called, hour glass. Also something for short waisted people too maybe?

Hello Marina, so happy you enjoyed this segment! The jacket is called the Foiled print faux suede jacket from Joseph Ribkoff. I wore size medium, which was tight….would wear the large. Here it is on our website www.shepherdsfashions.com/collections/as-seen-on-social-media/products/joseph-ribkoff-foiled-print-faux-suede-jacket
