Plenty of resources and lots of land, this sounds perfect for creatures to thrive. Combine that with the fact they can't starve or die of old age and we have the perfect recipe for maximum suffering. I let them build all across the world wherever they fit, but I add some disasters every few minutes just to keep them miserable. It starts simply enough but like always escalates into pure suffering. The inhabitants surprise me with their resilience but ultimately don't survive. Except for the ones left endlessly swimming in the ocean.

In case you didn't know yet DF. The Nanobots dvour everything connected to a tile that is not the deep ocean. And well, except for that one island, everything else had at least some land connecting them together. Caused great suffering though, very approved!
