I saw them in Los Angeles for this tour. Had been listening to them since about '98. OMG, so glad I got to see him before the stroke. Really, one of the top 5 bands ever and he's up there with Paul and John as songwriters. Just absolutely amazing songwriting. And man, the crowds... You definitely burn calories at their shows!!!
"wow the crowd" that's argentinians for you... They are the most euphoric, passionate, dramatic, intense, fans there are in the whole wide world, they're famous for it...
Salud, hermanos! Larga vida a Soda Stereo!!!💪💪💪💪
Great singer. Great composer. Great guitarrist. Great frontman. Nobody like he. The world have to discover this unique artist. So much talent into a body it´s insane man...
It was a 10 year anniversary of his stroke, not his passing. His accident happened hours after his last concert. He passed away 2014, after a 4 year coma. Thank you so much for reacting to Soda Stereo. Gustavo Cerati was a phenomenal guitarist. Truly skilled and one of the greatest in my opinion. His singing while playing was the cherry on the top. Please react to "Corazon Delator", from this same tour/concert.
And my best memory of Soda Stereo is that concert. They did 6 live performances in that stadium during the 2007 tour, and I've been to 3 of them. Please keep it up. Thanks!
Saw them in Los Angeles. It was the same. Up and down for hours. It was exhausting, but wonderful. Best show I've ever seen, for sure. Van Halen, Bowie and Springsteen were all great, but Soda... Oh man...
Sorry i knew it was a very hard day for Soda fans im still fairly new only hearing them once before this reaction but i was told about the day of his coma so i wanted to honour Gustavo with this vid even though i was a day late after finding out.
Thanks for reacting to our beloved Soda Stereo. There is so much material of this band you could react that I can't say a particular song, maybe Corazón Delator, which I consider a beautiful work of art. If you need links to keep reacting to them let us know, we're glad to help😝😅. Thanks again 😘
SODA STEREO...ONE BANDA AMAZING...!!! WAOOOO...UNIC...GUSTAVO CERATI 😢😢😢.!!! VERY GOOD BAND...EXCELENT...MAGNIFIC...!!! ARGENTINA...?!!! THE PUBLIC IS CRAZY...WAOOOO WAOOOO WAOOOO ❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤
Great song!!! The best band of rock&pop in spanish!!! Gustavo was a very talented musician, a good guitarist, an excellent composer and with a unique, very personal voice register, a beautiful voice. He was also very charismatic. Best Regards!.
Rock in Argentina was born with Sandro in the '50s, as an Argentine Elvis, and then in the mid-60s he took a turn with some bands like Los Gatos where they already began composing songs with their own style but always influenced by English artists and American people. Already in the ‘70 with the military dictatorship, it was very difficult for artists to rock. However, the emblems that would change Argentine rock forever emerged at that time, Pappo (Heavy Metal), Billy Bond (Psychedelic and Vanguard), Charly García and Luis Alberto Spinetta (Pop Rock Symphonic). But in the 80s with the Falklands War with England a very interesting and wide-ranging movement was generated with bands like Los Abuelos de la Nada, which had already dyed formations in the 70s, but with its turn to Funky and performances live with revolutionary costumes, or Miguel Mateos/Zas or Virus, with its Pop, Punk, New Wave style and the refined aesthetics of its singer and leader Federico Moura, who was the producer of the first Soda Stereo album, a band that changed everything from its Pop Rock mix Funky and the look and aesthetics, also helped all the movement under the local scene, product of so many years of military repression, bands like Patricio Rey y sus Redonditos de Ricota (Rock), Los Twist that included a woman for the first time of his band, Fabiana Cantilo (as the name Twist says), Los Fabulosos Cadillacs (ska), Los Pericos (reaggea), Fricción, Los Pillos, Don Cornelio and the Zona (Dark), Los Encargados (Synth), Euroshima (Gothic), Memphis la Blusera (Blues) and many others. But it was Soda that included a publicist to define his image and style, not only in his live image, the stage, but also in his revolutionary hairstyles, makeup and costumes and they definitely changed the music scene forever
Thanks for another great reaction!! I really feel your enthusiasm! Please more Soda Stereo reactions!! You will see the band's (and Cerati's) diversity by reacting to Corazon Delator, El Riti, Signos, De Música Ligera. Hombre al Agua, to name a few, preferrably live performances such as this 2007 show. Thanks again!

Remember, this song is from 1986, so you can still hear those different sounds and effects of the 80s (for example like U2 or Genesis) brought back 21 years later (in 2007) by the greatest band of Latin America and non-english speaking band in the world.
