If parents set limits & monitor what they were doing....then there wouldn't be a problem! There kid does something crazy.... And instead of dealing with the issue at hand .....talking to there child ...listening to them and monitoring what they're up to... They try to put the blame somewhere else!

Eminem is saying don’t censor music. Be better parents and dont let your kids listen to it. It’s the responsibility of the parent to know what the kid is doing.

Little Eric is a reference to Eric Clapton's son falling from their condo deck and died. It actually is what "tears in heaven" was written for. Eric Clapton had said some negative stuff about Eminem and his impact on kids, so this was Eminem saying "worried about me? Worry about your own kids." A crazy bar at the time

You’re one of the few younger reactors that understand Em’s tongue in cheek bars. You get his sarcasm. Shows how intelligent you are.😊

Listen to “Renegade” by JayZ and Eminem. It’s not only a huge hit classic but he talks about the same issue in that song! Ironically Em didn’t allow cussing in his house or his kids to listen to his music when they were younger

The point is the parent should be present enough in the kids lives that they know what kind of music they're consuming and have some control over the kind of music they're consuming. Or even if you're okay with them consuming music, they shouldn't be, but at least your president enough to kind of talk through what they're hearing and help them process it. In other words be a parent. Eminem isn't the parent of his listeners so he can say whatever he wants. It's not his job.

I believe that music shouldn't be censored, but that parents should parent. It is up to parents to decide if their kid is mature enough, stable enough, and understanding enough to handle media. It is hardly Eminem's fault if they dont do their due diligence and hand his records over to a ten year old.

Eminem didn’t let his kids listen to his music until they were in high school bc he didn’t think it was appropriate for them. He’s making fun of white parents who bought their kids his CDs bc of his color & then were shocked at the content.

    Censoring yourself isn't the solution.
The parents who let their kids do whatever they want, buy them iPhone and iPads at 6 years old and give it to them without monitoring or give it to them because they're being whiney brats and they just want them to sit there and shut up instead of scolding them or giving them a hand across the bottom are the problems.
Raise strong minded children so they won't be easily influenced by cardi b or some on the internet talking about depression. Be strict. Lay down the law. Monitor all their technology usage (or don't give them any at all). And kids would be in better shape.
If someone talks about deleting themselves on youtube and a kid trys to do the same and blames it on a video, the person in the video not to blame at all. The parents of that child are.

The parents that try to cancel Em are the same parents that let their 12yr old son watch Terminator and their 12yr old daughter listen to Lady Gaga sing about riding my disco stick on lunch time radio

His music has always had an adult rating on it, so the fact that kids are hearing his music, thinking it's real, and doing dumb stuff like what they here is on the parents for not keeping a closer eye on them. He was calling out all of the activist groups blaming him for letting music and tv raise their children without supervision.

I'd have to disagree my guy. I definitely understand where that opinion comes from but at the same time, if you went through childhood trauma you'd understand. I did have childhood trauma so I see it different

Nah man , it wasn’t just shock factor. They were actively trying to ban this man’s music. Not some “oh I’m being canceled” pussy shit you hear from celebrities now days, that shot is fake as fuck. They were making this man speak to congress. And when you really from the hood your attitude is “fuck you” and rightfully so. The entire world is full of hypocrites and he was just calling that shit out.
