love that Jasons kids will see this when theyre older and completely understand and relate to their dads life and mindset when he was bringing them up.
Saw them live in Camden last week. They're utterly brilliant. Pure, raw energy, passion, lyrics that pack a real punch. They've got it all. Best band in Britain today.

It maybe the Carling Black Label and Homegrown talking, but I love this stuff. It's like finding that special plant, you know, the one that speaks to you: "Smoke me please!"
I wasn't keen when I first head this, 'shout along chorus' I thought. Listened to the rest of the lyrics though, now I can't stop singing it. Job done.
Excellent track! They're playing in Los Angeles in April. I cannot bloody wait! I saw them in the UK last year when I was home visiting, and now I am a huge fan. Jason is excellent at lip-syncing to the recordings in the videos. It must have taken ages to get right. I love the video too. Reminds me of a place I lived in Cardiff in the 80's, but I didn't have TCR, I had Scalextric. Best band I have seen in yonks!
Love these two haven' t listened to the Sleaford Mods for a while Jason Williamson is so unique and that is a British rail tattoo on his forearm he worked for them but he got sacked or walked then came out with monster of a track jobseeker !! . One of my favourite tracks is "Middle Men" love it when performed live outstanding to say the least ! . Blessed yeah I'm out peace . ✌🇬🇧 🚉 ☣💯
I remember seeing them support the libs and he walked across the stage pretending to be a train going "choo fucking choo mate!!!". The audience didn't get it.
My brothers and I were overjoyed to receive TCR for Crimbo in the late 70s. We were in heaven for about 48hrs when it suddenly stopped working and never worked again. Ahead of its time I'm afraid.
So did I, it was the perfect end to that days' stage. Since then two whole days of it hypnotising me have followed, it's started something. Just wonderful to get that almost-forgotten buzz from discovering a new voice after such a long time...

I'm writing, the best book ever. Making the unconscious, plainly visible as conscious. My mind is permanently, looking backwards. Acknowledgement, and a mild fleeting congratulatory nod. The book isn't bad so far....
First time I heard this was because I was watching The Stone Roses at Wembley and these were supporting. I thought wtf at the time and didn't bother getting to Wembley until halfway through Sleafords set, I now regret it!
They have become quite addictive to me and I listen to them when coding websites but they are also so fucking complex For example I'm restricted from listening everywhere due to the content as some people would be very offended but then then content has to be there for it to work also the music is really addictive it's not all about the angry undertones and again these have to be there for it to work So all.in all I absolutely love sleaford mods and I think it's brilliant and it just has to remain as it is for as long as possible Peace X
My Dad got us those racecars for Christmas one year. Love that old guy. ❤️

A perfect 'fuck off' to multinational record companies. Two blokes with a laptop making quality tunes that actually connect.

i may not understand or agree but god damnit i wanna hear these dudes cus they're real imo
Who would have thought that the true spirit of 1976 punk is alive and well in the hands of two middle aged blokes and a laptop? Simply brilliant.
Block rocking beats.
My new favourite band.
Only 4 years late.
But better late than never. ❤️
You lucky lucky bastard , you've got a huge back catalogue to discover. Flipside , Chop Chop Chop & Jolly Fucker are a few of my favourites
That 50s look can do one! Elvis has definitely left the fucking building!!
says a guy dressed like a 60s mod, and calls his band sleaford Mods:-) love the song though
Who’s
Elvis?
Fucking quality mate 👌
I think Elvis maybe like, and cover it with more crooner tone, the colonel i'm not sure, of course we have just Elvis ghost now
Absolutely cracking tune! Brilliant. Cheers.

The Mods are the best thing to come down the pipe in a long time. Love what these lads are doing. Would love to see them in T.O.

He didn't walk. The Tories privatised our railways and shut British Rail down - putting thousands of people on the dole.
What years did he work for them and where abouts?
BANGING TRACK. Saw them live at the 02 Oxford absolutely Brilliant. VOICE OF THE WORKING CLASS.
Another belter from the lads, l often wondered where my mum and dad's carpet ended up, it is spot on, glad l have a ticket for Rock City

This song live in Brisbane this year.in my mind forever. Best live tune ever. Cheers Fellas.
They need to liven things up with the "jam car". It went around really slowly changing lanes randomly to keep up the interest.
A great and welcome return from the Mods. Put a smile on my face.
this song is an anthem. reet brilliant!
I just love these guys. Enough said !
their live sets are so low-key I wouldn't be surprised if they whipped out the scaletrix on stage just to piss people off
;)
