Empty raids for me and my duo in NA East since matchmaking update (to clarify we were encountering many other pmcs prior to matchmaking update and after Halloween event)

The match making should be fast. You should never know how many people are in your raids.. Could be a dead raid, could be full.
In real life I don’t get a fucking screen pop saying how many enemy’s there could be lol why in a real sim ish game??????

took me and my friend 30+ raids to find 10 PMCs for Factory Office Kills mission. It's insane. There aren't any people in raids currently.
Day before that, we spend 3 days trying to get him 10 kills on Lighthouse for Punisher Part 3. This is with us full W-keying to hot spots and we still can't find people. It's a wasteland!
There’s a bug right now making some raids not count and if you die or live you just go back to stash with all the stuff you came in with.

Никита всё также будет говорить о каком-то релизе, а у нас всё ещё будет 30 ФПС на Улицах Таркова, читер на каждом третьем игроке в ПВП и дикие, стреляющие сквозь кусты и сраный туман в ПВЕ. Пока это не исправят, БСГ даже заикаться не должны о "релизе". Иначе весь релиз будет заключаться в смене цифры "0.15" на "1.0", а по факту игра так и останется куском недоделанного говна с загрузками по 10 минут и отрицательным ФПС даже на топовых системах.

the screen bug happens when the weather changes on the map and the fog appears. the fog already looks really weird and green inside interchange but i only got this half screen is blue- bug on fullscreen, and its defenitely linked to the fog, thats why it happens to everyone at the same time in the raid if their settings are set up a certain way. restarting game and reconnecting seems to fix it if you got it
omg i am not the only one, i have to do test drive task line, and man i cannot anymore, i need like 5 raids to find 1 pmc and its so time consuming.
As a fellow supporter of tarkov it bums me out how shitty tarkov has gotten I'm not hating I'm not complaining but man this game is such a masterpiece that doesn't get the love and maintenance it NEEDS. Arena was probably the worst investment they've done. Now they make it a requirement to play it to unlock "new" content.
Yeah Arena was an ENORMOUS waste of time, effort, and funds. Why didn't BSG focus on optimization for the main game?
as someone who isnt deticated to complaining about the game as a full time job. arena is fun, ive been playing since 2018 and i have no idea why people are so upset about the fact that the version of tarkov meant for noobs, allows them to be competitive with people who dont get off normal tarkov. if you werent aware, it was an antidote for mega sweats that dont go outside, now they have to face noobs with the same gear as them, rather than just pubstomping people. Tarkov is a terrible game to get into as a pure noob, almost nobody who is wants to play this game, thats why the players barely go up. so it was NEEDED for them to actually bring in new players, the only people i see complain about Arena are people who just hate bc its popular, or ppl who dont get off the game in the first place. for everyone else, its good. It makes the game more balanced, everyone is on an evenier playing field, everyone has more money, stakes are a little lower so noobs have less gear fear. The idea that a noob is gonna hop straight into tarkov is pretty dumb. the only times that happens is usually either if they're just way in over their head about their ability to play this game in the first place. or they have a friend, who already plays the normal game, introducing them. Either way, its still stupid, as a noob if you dont start with arena you're making a mistake, and for the sake of litterally every lobby, i'd rather that, cuz as someone whos played since before fuckin interchange, i have no idea why people want to constantly run into nongeared noobs. that isnt fun, it isnt rewarding, its a rather big waste of time, and i'd much rather run into chads 24/7, who actually know how to play the game, cuz not only are they geared, but its actually fair, because im not a noob. and i rarely see any of them anymore other than on arena, which is what its very clearly designed for. i just think most of the EFT community misses the point of it entirely, or are too stuck up that they dont wanna stop curbstomping, OR, just dont know how to introduce people into the game properly, and get upset that the normal game is too hard without arena (it only is as a noob, and if ur a noob, go play arena)
So TLDR, it makes sense, this community doesnt, the game is more fun than it ever has been in my entire time playing this game, the only thing detracting from it are salty players who ruin the player numbers all to prove a point that doesnt even make sense,
@@therarenormal Yes arena is fun, but why make arena the requirement to help noobs get onto a more even playing field with mega sweats? Why not implement better optimizations and systems within the base game without having to spend another 25-30 dollars to close the gap? I think that's the crux of what ElChadNate is talking about, and what MOST reasonable players are miffed about with regards to Arena.
darrenong9064 because the Base game is not supposed to be easy, I kinda cant believe people think the idea is to make normal Tarkov easier, why do that when people clearly enjoy the struggle, why not just appeal to both groups with two games, instead of pandering to only one of these groups and ignoring the others. and once again Arena is the game noobs are gonna be more inclined to buy, I have alot of friends who know of tarkov, some of them play, but most only have arena, because they arent ready to hop into a game like tarkov. Arena only ruins the balance for strictly old and normal tarkov players, for players who dont mind playing arena, or even enjoy it, or new players. its far superior of an experience for a noob than hopping straight into tarkov mid wipe. That shit i've seen first hand kill a new players perception of how much they like Tarkov. so i think its perfect that the game it seems noobs are more pulled in by now is Arena. because its more accessable. It was never meant to appeal to OG existing players who want tarkov to be easier. Its only gonna get harder, and Arena hopefully, will either stay this easy, or get easier. because quite frankly it benefits nobody to only have normal Tarkov as the option. It kills away alot of potential players. and like i saId im only saying this because i've seen it first hand. I think it should personally be like $15. but honestly their pricing is straight up just a result of BSG's in all honesty mismanaged funds. Im sure Arena would be cheaper if they could afford to make it so without it being a loss of profit itself. Because it works against the point of its own existance when its so expensive. So when they make Arena cheaper, (if they do) it'll make alot more sense. I just think ppl overesitmate the bargains BSG was ever gonna give them lol. They arent known for sales, their games are known to be expensive so its kind of wild to me that like almost a decade after selling a game for like $140, ppl are complaining about a 30 sum odd dollar purchase.
fun fact evry cod title since 2019 has had this bug in their game for season 1 and its based on lighting in that game you loom at a light on the roof the wrong way or a glare the wrong way and your entire screen goes like this. idk why its such a commen bug in gaming
Looks like the deferred rendering quad is not fixed and is moving with the camera
Possibly switching between fullscreen and borderless might reset it, or changing resolution/display monitor

Thats an old glitch, I get this this wipe and last wipe mostly on streets and reserve, no way to fix it, it is a location problem, once you leave the are it happens at it goes away.
I have gooten in many times recreated at the BSG office looking for the relax key, kind of a fun side quest looking for the key blind lol

Had the glitch happen to me on a scav on lighthouse. Could not fix in the raid. Ran to extract and cleared cache after raid, no issues since
I experience the exact same issue on EU servers the last few days. 0 players on Lighthouse, I just need one kill for Punisher 4. I've looted the chalet without encountering anyone 3 raids in a row.

ive been playing labs with 5 servers selected and its super hit or miss ill do 2 raids and theres 1 or two people then suddenly full lobby but most raids are very empty very very annoying.
pretty sure this is a hardware specific bug... most likely one of the newer cards needs a firmware update
says it has something to do with the layers in Unity, and camera settings.
Camped D 2 for a while, then got the glitch. Though it was some feature to punish extract campers.

The raids feel empty because the matchmaking is so fast. Slow matchmaking means more opportunity for people to join.
My whole group is not playing after the zombie event. We are not alone. And also you should be sure that a loot of ppl are in the zone right now :)

Had it bug yesterday when I crouch, I alf +F4 game and it didn't help. randomly bug get away but came back randomly when I went prone to loot dead pmc. I get scare my PC die
Dude, I still need to kill PMCs for Insomnia. I ran Woods like hell at nighttime and met no other player for hours. That sucks really. BSG should think about more dynamics in server handling or questing. Why dont they shut down servers, when they see that no players joining them. So they can put that few players to less servers and the lobbies are more filled then.
When I need to do that crappy Test Drive kills - why only on one map? Why dont they randomize the maps for that quests and let the player participate on maps with full lobbies then?

So yesterday i had that bug, i just close the game and reopen it i the bug disappeard, but i loosed like 7mins of the raid
They need to have same amount of servers in the main game as they do in arena . At least then the raids will have more players
Hi, play after the new matchmaking and no players in raid, find one players two in max, its dead the raids you basically never find players, i played in europe change serveres to auto and the same problem the matchmaking its quikc 2/3 and enter in raid, but no players, the glitch from the screen i have yesterday, in a scav raid i played with 2 friends we have the same glitch screen at same time, i have disconectd form the raid my friends made ALT+F4 and reconnect and glitch has gone.
Noone likes late wipe im not surprised all the lobbies are empty maybe they should make the quests less annoying or more interesting mid/late wipe and also remove every quest that is on lighthouse that map needs to be either removed or completely remade.
Bug is probably not client side, all three of us got the the screen halfed at the same time when I was in a trio.

Raids are totally dead for me, I’ve ran Reserve 6 times today and not bumped into a single player. So I’ve just been running around and hunting bosses
Matchmaking rework might actually work but the wipe is already dead. It's happening earlier and earlier with each wipe.
Its just bad sound design. You still need a certain amount of people to start a raid. People just run through for loots and noobs play dumb slow and hide. If you could actually hear explosions and shots across the map it would feel more full

100% raids are DEAD. Takes me about the same time as before... but in 13 raids trying to do shooter 8 I saw a total of 2 players. unacceptable.

i think the games just dead right now, however i played like 10 games on reserve friday night and ran into 4 or 5 pmcs every single game on NAE. i dont think its a matchmaking thing causing empty raids its just lack of players

game right now feels like waste of time... i have 100+ milions in stash full of weapons and gear, i cant even get pvp unless i go for labs which i dont even like cause people camp corners, i was on the way for kappa but killing people in the night now is impossible, even on daylight its bearly possible to find anyone... lightkeeper first time i tryharded for him since i play this game and what? its bugged xD i dont like to be that negative but this is actually a joke for a game that cost soooooo much money. most of people paid like 250$ which is cost of like 3-4 triple A games cost and here everything is broken.. how they can allow situation when you dedicate weeks or months of your time to get something exclusive and its bugged.. about time of matchmaking, really i rather wiat 5+minutes each than running around for 20min in empty server.. its pointless to do so, unless you are timmy that want to get his missions done but in the long run game is focused on PVP which doesnt exist anymore since like 2 weeks, raids should have been set on minimum of 10 players on most maps and you have to wait for this amount of players like its on arena, even 10 people on full map seems so little

@mattdayman9632 you get 1.5 mil a day if you just play it a bit keep in mind you have to buy or own arena to get that plus ref has extremely useful things on him for gp the only good way to get gp being arena and the lega keys are really good in them self's really good and only for arena players
