Pronouns are typically only used when talking about someone in the third person ie. when that person is not around but you've already 'identified' them for the purposes of the conversation when you either don't know their name or if you do, so that you don't have to over-use it. It's a very particular brand of mental illness that requires you to exert power over others, be a perpetual victim and be the centre of attention at all times, even when you're not present.

I'm a trans woman, I started my transition like right after i turned 18. What he says from 4:20-4:30 is some real shit. Women don't go around proselytizing to everyone that they're women, nor do men. They simply live their lives. Its this new crowd of outspoken trans people without dysphoria that give the trans community a terrible reputation, as being pushy and over demanding, they care more about pronouns than actually passing and looking like the gender you're transitioning to. It’s actually sad people can’t accept themselves. Trans everything is personal but if we are going to be honest it’s people growing up hating who they are. I grew up loving hip hop and had passing thoughts that being black would be cool . Being as silly as I was then if someone told me I could be I would be mailable enough. As someone who was constantly questioning my gender in school and never really knew what pronouns to use, I've found that it really isn't about identifying yourself AS a pronoun/ gender, it's about being comfortable in ur own skin. I don't think I need to change my pronouns/ gender expression, the only thing I have to identify myself as is me becuase I'm not girly or manly, I'm just me and that could mean a lot of things.

A lot of my friends are transitioning FtM MtF my best friend is non-binary and honestly when they get super in people's faces about it I hate it. I'm a trans woman, I started my transition like right after i turned 18. What he says from 4:20-4:30 is some real shit. Women don't go around proselytizing to everyone that they're women, nor do men. As someone who was constantly questioning my gender in school and never really knew what pronouns to use, I've found that it really isn't about identifying yourself AS a pronoun/ gender, it's about being comfortable in ur own skin. I don't think I need to change my pronouns/ gender expression, the only thing I have to identify myself as is me becuase I'm not girly or manly, I'm just me and that could mean a lot of things.
