This movie isn’t exactly making fun of gays. The comedy is about how two straight men think a gay man acts and it’s all stereotypical and stuff. How unhinged these two are and on what extent they could go just to get what they want. And now that they both love the girl how much they can play into that lie that they created. And it’s also how this movie introduces a homosexual relationship in an Indian cinema in a funny way (cuz like it or not people get liked to get unnecessary mad specially in early 2000’s) and also add a little bit of understanding aspect for the community with the mothers arc in a way so that desi parents can see a different perspective. I think because of movies like these we see more representation today and now it can tackle serious aspects of it without having a huge crowd boycotting it. (Cuz like it or not people still get mad unnecessarily 💀)
well it's directed by Karan Johar who himself is gay. I am sure that's additional point that every joke doesn't sound that offensive instead just funny. he must have supervised dialogues too
@@GirishManeShine karan was going to direct the movie some of it he did tarun was AD first & u & i both know why he didn't officially came out of the closet yet
That's what you guys got wrong they are not making fun of what gay people are like but they are making fun of what straight Indian guys think gay people are like. So it's okay to laugh at it. This movie was very self aware.
Guys pls watch jodha-Akbar & sheersha. Jodha Akbar is a modern day masterpiece, it has one of Hrithik Roshan's carear best performance & sheersha is one of best war- biopics made in recent times.
The director is allegedly gay (he has never said it out loud but has heavily implied it for years) so it's okay to laugh. This movie was an attempt to normalise such relationships in mainstream media. And it worked btw.
It worked? Dostana didn't do anything. It only stereotyped us. Much of Discourse and positive representation in Bollywood that have taken off in recent years was due to naz judgement of 2018
@@vatsalj7535 it started a conversation, though. Film industries all over the world use stereotypical cliches in their commercial/mainstream films and keep nuanced representation for alternate genres. It has nothing to do with the subject it attempts to portray. The guys are behaving stereotypically b'coz in their head that's what gays do.
I must say I really loved your reaction of this movie. I love the parts most where you guys are laughing and enjoying much in reaction interestingly that made reaction more funny for me cause you guys were unabashedly open about the matters "that were once ok and not today" and the fact that you were very natural and genuine in your reaction made it more funny and I was laughing more after watching your reaction. I must say may be your laugh is very contagious.
Krrish is also the sequel to koi mil gaya (2003) fantasy sci fi movie. its like 80s steven Spielberg movie you need to koi mil gya then Krrish (2006) Krrish 3 (2013) Krrish 4 is also happening ✌🏻❤❤❤

You can’t Watch Krrish just like that. It’s a sequel to Koi… Mil Gaya!
1. Koi… Mil Gaya
2. Krrish
3. Krrish 3
Krrish is not the first part. It's 'Koi Mil Gaya' , the main character of this movie is Krrish
Not me just waiting for MAA ka LAADLA bigaar gaya song 😅 that song still make me burst out of laughter 😂
Don’t worry..I’m gay and I love this film. It’s funny how outrageous it is. It’s meant to be cheeky
this movie, as absurd as it gets, is still hella enjoyable (uhhh back when people could actually take stuff like this as a joke)
If you wanna watch Krrish then you have to watch koi mil gaya first
The singer of first MV is "Sunidhi Chauhan"
Most versatile FL playback singer.
It's literally directed by Karan Johar, who himself is, gay.
This movie is too funny 😂😂 I LOVE IT!!!
GO GOA GONE NEXT !!!!
Bro the director is literally gay himself & if we can make fun of masculinity we should not be so touchy hypocrites & hypersensitive ✌️
Are you talking about Karan or Tarun? Because Karan is not the director of this movie nor he has stated that he is gay anywhere.

U should watch the housefull series for more of Boman Irani and comedies. Boman was also good in PK and Parmanu (with John )

Not the director, he's the producer
Karan Johar is openly gay now, as per his autobiography he was straight till his early 20s and then began to shift as he got older.
