Since doors recently updated, and I wanted content, I present to you, the new doors ingame shop, apart of the doors hotel+ update! The doors update has added the doors crucifix, new rooms, and an entire doors revamp, including the seek chase and a new ingame shop.

I love this new update, doors used to be another slow paced mystery game, then with this update made it more horrifying. Seek and Figure are animated perfectly to let you know what is happening, you see seek go into an intense sprint to you then afterwards having the arms and fire surrounding the last room making it challenging. Figures cutscene rebuilds my respect for figure, from being another blind entity to perfection with a few tweaks. You can see him moving more fleshy and life like, Looking around like some sort of alien creature. The way it flails makes it seems threatening but makes you know hes blind.

I feel like the reason why the seek chase feels slower is to make it feel more realistic like you’re running from an actual monster that’s faster than you to give you an extra revamp of fear when you realize he’s right behind you.

I think is the reason why is making the chase more easier because too much speed means you may get hit by the wall but using vitamins will make you like the old speed
It feels more intense for me because now the footsteps are louder and it sounds like he’s always behind you
the footsteps are making it scary because you think seek is behind you

I know this late but, I like the implement of Seek. We thought Doors was a slow horror game until Seek arrived, it gave us not only horror, but also *anxiety* . In addition, the song "Here I Come" is literal definition of anxiety and fear, its there to make us scared. Even the ending for the song, make us calm. The Doors devs are just amazing.

This sequence made Seek unironically my favorite monster. Before it was Figure but Seek chasing you (and the fact that he instakills you if he reaches you) makes him feel like an actual threat that you can only escape if you know what youre doing.

Imagine an infinite challenge where Seek is just chasing you basically forever (with safe rooms every 100 or so) and only a few others (with diminished roles) were present?
Dupe: Shows up occasionally with a yellow-lit door.
Snare: Additional obstacle.
Glitch: Loading-error grace period (makes the next room a hallway and stops Seek until the player continues.)

The new seek chase is actually challenging because the room gets dark and the light is duller so I sometimes get confused on which door to go through and I died when I usually can get through it pretty easily

I feel much slower while doing the seek chase and it doesn’t feel as thrilling as it used to.

One thing I hate is when the lights flicker as I approach the octagon. It makes it too dark for me to see which door to go through, and I lose so many times. :(
rip, it doesnt happen on higher graphics, but i fully understand if you cant run higher graphics
try to pay attention if you see a particle on the door and light in the real door make sure you see it and stop a little bit quick and try to look around
Pro tip: if you stay still during the seek chase you will magically go to the end of the chase! Hope this helps
pro tip if screech appears, but you are at 1 hp, screech will hug you

Very pro tip : if you hear rush, dont get inside a closet but instead you jump on to of him and he'll take you to the next room

Yep. I encountered a run where seek didn't spawn 2 times now. And just a little explanation: There's actually a small chance of seek not spawning. So if he didn't spawn on your run. Then you're so lucky.

Believe it or not, you do get a slight tip on how to survive Seek when you first ever meet them. It's from your mind, at this very moment in the game, there is only one thought in your mind...

Hard fact: when seek crases you and he's new you don't hear the footsteps change even going to the wrong hallway so we can only tell he's close with his red light but it's to make it scarier by the way the close footsteps are now only for when he starts running but we are not slower it feels like we are tho.

escaping seek is not that difficult, but for me I suffer on the mobile, when I start to run from him, my controls bug and the scenery freezes, and when I realize, I'm dead. (I hope I buy a PC to play without crashing problems)
