For the chorus, it sounds like you could probably simulate the overdubbed toms by playing that rhythm on the double bass.

Hy....nice video..and nice socks...lol But got a question.... Now I have seen 2 drummers for Marilyn... Ginger Fisher and current drummer, Brandon Pertzborn. Brandon has a Drum Cam..( th-cam.com/video/mauOGHZgxE8/w-d-xo.html ) Brandon's way of playing is 2 rack toms and then the floor tom for the intro/bridge (Triplets) which you had shown us......... where-as Ginger Fisher, (and this came from a Interview of him, can't rememeber who/when).....He Played the Floor Tom only for the intro/bridge for the recording of the song....
Your version....Sounds good.!! With respect..You are the Teacher.. lol
