As civilization gets more complex, pendulums do as well. A peasant living in the Middle Ages in rural England would have only 2-3 pendulums in their reality. Now, in the technological & over-populated 21st century, we have dozens to navigate. However, some pendulums (working for a corporation, being part of a religious system, etc.) can be avenues for personal growth & socialization. Just remember that you don't have to accept or become inundated with all aspects of a pendulum in order to be a part of its energy system.
I'm a huge fan of goals. So it'd be fine to think of a personal pendulum for you to work toward. It also could be beneficial to think of yourself as part of a pre-existing Pendulum: for example, "People Inspired by David Goggins"... or "Fans of Jocko Willink." - In either case, you are envisioning yourself being empowered by being a part of a Pendulum of authentic & successful people.
