    Being a juhuro (mountain Jew) that was born I'm Israel I am happy to some positive comments from Muslim posters instead of the usual TH-cam comments shitfest. Really it is a great sight. Although I will point out that Georgian Jews differ from Juhuro which are mainly from Derbend, Mahachkala in Deghestan and Kuba as well as other various villages in Azerbaijan. Buchari (Uzbeks) Georgians, and other Jews have their own lineage, culture, language etc.

      The Kavkas are sometimes believed to be one of the origins of ashkenazim. They are white mizrahi jews. The idea is, it's known ashkenazim kept very similar traditions and hebrew dialect(example CHET and Ayin being guttural) to the yemenites. until the birth of the hasidic Era. The more known ashkenazim hebrew and Yiddish were an offspring dialect from being exposed to European cultures. remember Ashkenazim have middle eastern DNA. Notice temani/mizrahi and ashkenazim maintain certain pronunciation. Adonoy instead of adonai and many other words.

      Very stupid to post christian missionary bullshit on a jewish prayer video. Jesus is not god. God said that you shall not give or share his praises to foreign gods and idols, Your claim that no one can get to god without a roman pagan demi-god jesus is in contradiction to gods own words!!! God is infinite unlimited and without form, god has no gender for god has no earthly body, God is not man that he should lie nor mortal that he should change his mind. God is equal to none, and none is equal to god, and god needs no idols or roman demi-gods like jesus.
      The new testament is false. There is no such thing as an old testament, because the "New testament" Is an illegal christian add on to the hebrew Torah, and written in greek and latin by the romans.
      The Orthodox Church(Greek Romans) didn't finalize their canon until around 700 CE, while the Catholic New Testament(Latin Romans) remained undefined until the Council of Trent in 1546 (Post Luther). New testament is an illegal and foreign add on to the jewish scriptures.
      Now be gone with your idolatry and blaspheme and stop selling people jesus!!!

      I see some of these replies are from nine years ago, and as recent as a month ago. I loved listening to this, I cringe every time I hear Ashkenazi prayer, it just sounds so foreign to me. I know that is the way they were raised, but I can’t understand why the rush through the prayers like it’s a big race to see who can get done the quickest. I grew up in a Sephardi temple, and this is so beautiful and familiar to me. Every word is pronounced, it is done slowly so the congregation can hear it and understand it, it is a blessing to listen to it have a go through your brain, and understand what is being said. The Haham’s praynot only for themselves to hear, but for the entire congregation to hear the prayers. It is a mitzvah to go to the kehlia and a mitzvah to actually listen and understand. So I will drive 50 miles to go to a Sephardi temple.
      This is beautiful chanting, the way it should be done to praise HaShem!

    • @ZviJ1
      @ZviJ1 8 ปีที่แล้ว +2

      +Uri DeYoung I have to disagree... The Taimanim -- seemingly most of them -- pronounce the Ḥolam as "Eh". This is demonstrated, for example, in the clips of Halakhaic Jewish prayer (with prostration) by Michael Yosef Eliyah.

    • @deyoungaza
      @deyoungaza 8 ปีที่แล้ว +1

      +ZviJ1 ֳNot all of the Yemenites pronounce it as an "eh." The two main traditions seem to be "eh" and "Ü' (a dipthong between "eh" and "oo"). In any case, there seem to be regional variations -- like with the gimmel-degusha which is gronounced as a "j" by the same folks who pronounce the holam "eh," and as a hard "g" by the folks who pronounce the holam "Ü."

    @Seabass1980 Modern Hebrew pronunciation was chosen by Ben-Yehuda not because "Ladino" (Djudezmo) It was because according to theories Sephardic pronunciation of Hebrew was closer to the original sounds of the letters than the Asckenas accent. LAdino has its roots in The Iberian Peninsula (Spain & Portugal) The language is based in Ancient Iberian language prior to Moden Spanish or Portuguese, in fact Genovese is also related.

    wow!!! juhuro have the same pronounce as Bukhari jews,
    unfortunately the new generation among bukhari jews dont
    read as we read before, but have adopted the yerushalmi nusach,
    i am sure if not soviet union, it would be easier to preserve
    the original dikduk of bukhari which is exactly like juhuro..
    gam ze letova,, thanks for this video.

      a language is an interpretation of the history of the same community
      in my opinion, the reason these languages sounds alike (but still not the same) is we share the same history of the Hebrew and Persian language
      the same as (for example), Arabic-Urdu- Hindu
      they share similar words and share part of the history

    • @ron2037
      @ron2037 2 ปีที่แล้ว

      us juhuri and your people bukhari jews both left Persia around the same period so that is why our languages are so similar. unfortunately our people are also experiencing same issue of the language being slowly lost

      Yigdal
      Lecha Dodi
      Bar Yochai
      Achot Ktana
      Google these prayers and read them for yourself. They are commonly found in all Hebrew prayer books. But we do not like to translate our prayers for others, since they are part of our national identity as a people.

    This is true. Did you know that muslims who pray on the Temple Mount, face mecca and put their behinds to the actual Temple, and Jews face the Temple and it's walls? This is a clear indication of indignation towards the Jewish God and His Holy Temple. If the muslims truly valued the Temple, they would pray to it, not mecca in Soudia, Arabia. Most would not notice this, but to those who do, it is an insult and purely a hate-filled political thing, not a religious one. I am Christian.

  • @walterfranco

    @ladeninlogen In part you are right. The problem is not between faiths, it is among politicians that can't have the wisdom to respect and to live in peace for the mutual benefit that our contributions to humanity can produce in Peace. Israel doesn't hate Palestinian Arabs, Israel never prevented neither denied the Arabs their rights. If we could live in Peace the Middle East could be an example to all Humanity to follow.

  • @walterfranco
    @walterfranco 14 ปีที่แล้ว +4

    @ladeninlogen It may seem that there is hate but it is all missinformation, we are related and our faiths in ther natural form call for love and understanding. Arabs, Turks, Iranians, Armenians and Jews we all share great things.
