    I use shiek gloves due to damage in my hands. It helps with lat push down. I also recently got shiek straps for my does and deadlift.

      @@NoFate247 I have not had a chance to use them yet. I got them for Christmas and have been sick since then. I love the gloves I got from them so I am expecting good things from the straps.

    Great breakdown No Fate! I have been using good ole iron mind nylon straps for a while. They are super tough, but I look like I was handcuffed after my dead’s. As far as wraps go, I have been going with Pioneer Phantoms for a while now. They hurt at first due to their rigidity, but they are very supportive and comfortable after breaking them in.

    Ik im a year late but what would you recommend if I’m losing my grip doing rdl’s before my hamstrings are failing? Lifting straps or one of the more expensive ones?

  • @gracehall9199

    Not only the wrist is as risk of damage, but so is fingers. I have pulled weights on my little fingers that have no muscle at all, and we’re straining them as well. So how do we protect our fingers.? We’re holding and pulling on weights with the fingers.

    Lifting gloves are a "petri dish" of bacteria. Unlike your hands, they are seldom washed and can develop oder. If you use lifting gloves, they need to be frequently cleaned!

    • @NoFate247
      @NoFate247  ปีที่แล้ว

      Yeah I wouldn't recommend gloves to 99 percent of lifters. Do you use straps

      @@NoFate247 I am a huge fan of washing hands and straps. I really like the Versa Gripp Pro product or heavy cotton straps with a single loop in one end. Furthermore, most leather gloves are slippery unless they are slightly dampened. As mentioned previously, leather gloves develop a bad odor unless they are washed every 2 weeks and they harbor bacteria since leather is porous.

    Nothing against LGBT but guys in the gym wearing glove scream gay to many. I love your intro btw.

    • @NoFate247

      I think the gloves make sense if you're doing like functional training with tires, wheel barrells and ropes, etc.
