Are u just using the scientific name? Cuz that's a spiny lobster correct? It looks like southern or Caribbean lobster which I thought was more in the crawfish family idk compared to the Maine or nothern....I live in CT, Fairfield county so I know my seafood but I'd love an answer?

These creatures are all dead before cooking and are borderline inedible, especially the boiled ones shown first. The lobster meat that you pulled out of that tail was not good. When the meat is crumbling and almost mealy like yours was, it's not a good idea to eat it. That indicates that the lobster has been dead for quite some time. A lobster's tail meat, when cooked, should be nice and firm and all one piece. I hope you didn't get sick from eating the dead lobster.
I'm used to the one cut down the middle in pull the whole tail out slowly...never seen that's way but like others said your editing, mic and video are super high quality plus your likeable you'll have 100k before you know it

Those rainbow crays don’t taste as good as spiny red rock lobster
In the Galapagos Islands they harvest both green and red spiny lobsters. The red ones go for a higher price and the locals say they are better. Have not personally done an A-B comparison though.

Next time you go to Dea he’ll the maine grab the tail fins with your thumb and finger, and twist. You can then stick your finger in and push the meat out

I'm from Maine which as you know is where the best lobster in the world comes from. So what I don't understand is why the lobsters were already dead before you were cooking them. I'm afraid that some novice that doesn't know what they're doing is going to think it's okay to eat dead lobster meat , but it isn't!! The lobster should be alive and moving when you put them in the pot!!

@@loucifer4205 You think the world of lobsters revolves around Maine (or Canadian) lobsters? The clawed lobsters have tougher meat and taste less sweet. Just compare them live vs live.
@msbrownbeast I have had them side by side over twenty and every time maine lobster is way better spiny lobster is tougher and less sweet its equal to shrimp just like snow is better than king crab, snow crab is more tender and sweater the only reason people like king crab is because you get more meat but if try them side by side you will see the snow crab is better and buy the jumbo snow crab legs which are almost as big as king
@@loucifer4205 Did you compare them both in live form or one live and the other frozen? It makes a big difference.
Agree with you on taste between snow and king. (Snow tastes better), but that being said, smaller crabs tend to taste better than the bigger ones., eg. the blue crabs from Chesapeake are really tasty.
