I've been an investor in Apple, gold, housing market as well because I strongly believe in them, I've always believed in the stock but now I don't know if to re-distribute my portfolio and put some money in Nvidia or Tesla especially now that we are experiencing a market correction

    • @Markjohnson09
      @Markjohnson09 3 หลายเดือนก่อน +4

Both stocks have a long term potential, The most important thing is the ratio of the distribution based on the financials of each company. There are many other companies that are also doing well. You could just hire a financial advisor to guide you. A financial advisor really does help me do the distribution even between different asset classes. I don't even understand technical financial terms much. I just know I make really good profit, and I don't have to stress myself a lotRead more

David might be right here, I just sold part of my Nvidia stock to protect my profits, but I'm holding onto some for the long run because of the company's strong growth prospects. In addition, I'm thinking of expanding the variety in my $400K stock portfolio, but I'm not sure how to handle risks going forward.

In recent weeks, lnvestors have become concerned that Nvidia has simply come too far, too fast, and they are wondering whether the hectic pace of AI adoption could continue. Nvidia answered that question with a resounding "yes," but given the stock's parabolic gains, blockbuster results simply weren't enough.I'm still looking for companies to make additions to my $350K portfolio, to boost performance. Here for ideas.

No one technically can. Even insiders can't. The market's too dynamic to know anything for certain. The company does have plans however, so you can simply consider those, but to what degree you wish to factor them in your financial models, that's upto you. If you listen to how most of these top investors analyze management commentary and company projections, they seem not to take more than one year's worth of projections seriously. They do factor in some of the projections exceeding one year but most of it's restricted to a year.

They still have a flawed understanding of Nvidia saying their margins have to come down in order for the AI to work. Blackwell is designed to be up to 25 times less expensive and consume less energy than Hopper. Would you pay higher price if this new thing cost you 25 times less to use?? Nvidia margin can go up much higher and this AI thing will still work

Intersting for sure. I do wonder how long the hyperscalers are willing to quadruple order and pay $35,000 for a $7,000 GPU just to get ahead of the line. That kind of Capex spend does eventually compress their Margins to undesirable levels. Not to mention other options out there such as TPUs etc. If my thesis is correct then in a year or two they won't be spending on GPUs like they are and NVIDIA will see not only margins compress buy also revenue drastically fall.
Orrrr it continues like this for another decade and they become a 10 trillion dollar company. Buy a chip etf and bet on the industry vs one horse might be safer🤔

Correct. We need a balanced party. The parties are too far left or too far right. I don’t like tax on unrealized capital gains. They will be consequences for our 401K and Retirement. The middle class will suffer. I don’t like Tariff on foreign products. The companies will push down the expenses to consumers like us. Again, we suffer. How the government will spend the tariff tax income, on what? Giving out free money to ppl who abuse the system and have not worked. A family is getting about $100K from IHSS government subsidy bought 2-3 houses under the son’s name. Ridiculous. Why neither parties talk about CONTROLLING THE EXPENSES. I know some cities, city of Berkeley, give out out 13-15 legal holidays on top of regular vacations and sick leave. Someone works there since she was 16 with the the city for 30 yrs is taking a day off every week on top of the legal holidays. Her position is critical and technical. So the city had to increase a new headcount. That is money. Then the city increases the property taxes every year.

I was buying Nvidia back in 2018. The same goes for Tesla, Microsoft, Apple, Google, Amazon and oil stocks.
These older investors do not understand in Nvidia. They look at it and all they see is AI. I look at Nvidia and I see video cards and young kids willing to spend $2000 to play video games in settings that they really don’t need to. It’s a waste of money for them, but their waste of money equals dividends for me.
When you buy dividend paying stock, it really doesn’t matter if there’s a dip or not: you are still getting paid and your money is relatively safe.

Unless the "dividend paying stock" is in perpetual downturn and you are losing more of your principal than you are gaining back in dividend. There are plenty stocks like that. Furthermore, dividend is not free money as most retail clowns tend to believe. I rather buy companies with strong balance sheet that buys back shares consistently (ex. BRK-B). It has the same effect as a dividend, but more tax efficient.

I feel investors should be focusing on under-the-radar stocks, and considering the current rollercoaster nature of the stock market, Because 35% of my $270k portfolio comprises of plummeting stocks which were once revered and i don't know where to go here out of devastation.

Safest approach i feel to tackle it is to diversify investments. By spreading investments across different asset classes, like bonds, real estate, and international stocks, they can reduce the impact of a market meltdown. its important to seek the guidance of an expert

A lot of folks downplay the role of advlsors until being burnt by their own emotions. I remember couple summers back, after my lengthy divorce, I needed a good boost to help my business stay afloat, hence I researched for licensed advisors and came across someone of utmost qualifications. She's helped grow my reserve notwithstanding inflation, from $275k to $850k.

“Viviana Marisa Coelho” is the licensed fiduciary I use. Just research the name. You’d find necessary details to work with a correspondence to set up an appointment

Joe is a terrible host and that other guy always focuses on politics; he clearly is a Trump hater and doesn't hide it. He shouldn't be on this show, which is supposed to be about business. He should move over to CNN.

I remember when I just got into crypto back in 2019 but later in 2020 I ended up selling it because I was dumb and I didn't understand it. I studied and learned and now I know how it works. Got back into crypto early in 2023 with 10k and I’m up with 128k in a short period of time .This comment serves as motivation for all those who have invested and continue to invest in cryptocurrencies with so many losses, do not give up, cryptocurrencies can change your life. Do your best to connect with the right people and you will surely see changes.

My opinion is that Mr tepper has no understanding of the future. The Blackwell is be a beginning of a New technology. After this technology what is to come is truly a genius. Blackwell is the door to the next world. Nvidia is the key. Mr Tepper is a 🧐.

If NVIDIA is unclear to him, or feels risky or certain, then he should just invest in Bonds. This guy doesn't have any insight, vision or risk-aperite and hence, his returns will be less as well..
