Filmed a random neighborhood tour showing you what a normal Japanese neighborhood looks like around the Matsudo area. I hope this helps sate your appetite for more Japan content! What was interesting to you? Any questions? Ask them below! Thanks for watching! ❤️
Nice nice. Yeah, I used to upload videos quite often, but in the last 2 or 3 years I stopped doing it because I got really burnt out on filming and editing. Now I just want to upload walking and store tour videos since they don't require much editing at all. Thanks for watching and stay tuned for more!
Hey, thanks! Yeah, I had a little time and wanted to upload something for y'all. Trying to get back into uploading more often on a regular basis. It's the only way to hit that 100K sub goal by the end of this year! hehehe
Great day for a walk Cory and Happy Easter too bad you have to work on this gorgeous sunny day but at least you had 2 hours to spend outside maybe you can do another mall tour of a different mall sometime or maybe if you go to Akihabara you could do an arcade tour if you think it's worth it since arcades are really huge in Japan I have no idea what the school system is like here in the Philippines where I live probably better in the cities but since I live out in the country side my younger cousin hardly ever goes to school or she just does her work from home like many other people have been doing for so long
Japanese neighborhoods and homes are very cool to me.. the houses sometimes have three levels. downstairs, upstairs, and another upstairs like attic area… in America we only have two levels to our houses, upstairs, downstairs, and basement area. very interesting.
Yeah, it's very rare to see a Japanese house with a basement. Some exist, but yeah, most don't have them. I was explaining to some Japanese before about basements and it blew their minds, especially when Americans make the basement into a fully furnished bedroom, office, or recreation space. My room in my parent's house is in the basement and it's huge and fully carpeted and furnished. Has gym equipment and the works. hehehe That just shocks Japanese people. Thanks for watching!
Aaaah 😌 thank you for that!! ❣as for schools on the weekend its a big no no here in Greece 😅 oooh and a question...do you know what is the yellow "structure" on the road at around 24:33 ? 🤔 oh ok you answered it at around 28:20 🥲
Wow, thanks for sharing! Interesting to know about Greece's situation about school on the weekend. Yeah, it's just the local trash bin where people put their sorted trash for collection on certain days of the week. It must be sorted or if someone catches you dumping whatever, you could get a lot of hate from your neighbors or even fined from the local city office. Thanks for watching!
In 2002, it has been ruled that all public elementary, middle and high schools must close on weekends and holidays. But some schools feared for the decrease in student academic ability due to the shortened class hours and applied to local government for a permission of having class on Sat under certain conditions. Now, some schools are having classes even on Sat.
One of the first things that initially caught my attention when i found your channel, was your attention to detail here and there, you know, the little flowers, little details on some houses etc and i love that ☺️ this was a great walk, beautiful day, super chilling, i had a great time watching it! Kids definitely need a break and time off to just be kids, here school is only from monday to friday, weekends are off, so they can enjoy free time with friends and family! So happy you posted this Cory, lovely surprise on this Sunday
So glad that you noticed that about me, Laura. hehehe And nice to know that where you live they give kids the weekends off. It's super important for mental health and well-being! Thank you for watching!!! ^^

I like neighborhood walks like this one. Are you using DJI Pocket 2 for filming?
Thanks! You should check out lots of my other videos. Tons of neighborhood walks and live streams. And yes, it was with the Pocket 2.

No premier? Would've loved to watch it with y'all
Yeah, sorry. I only do premieres on Thursday, 10am Japan time, each week. See you then!
😊😊😊
American here, saturday school is a thing but it usually something along the lines of punishment. multiple tardies, troublemakers, ext.

Hi Cory, do people in Matsudo understand/speak english in general??
Just an idea but any chance you would be interested in doing a video about Japanese vending machines?
Uhmm... yeah, I could do that one day. Thanks for the suggestion!
