Such an incredible piece to just be a mascot. You guys are incredibly talented and should consider bringing it to life in a video game. It sparks imagination and inspiration that calls for a proper narrative that can visualize a great action/adventure, if you ask me.

This mascot is imbued with so much representation for what makes Kojima Productions the studio that it is. It is exploring new adventures, with and "eye" for detail, in an empty vessel. Yearning to fill it with new and creative experiences. And most importantly, it stands tall, for all of Koji-Pro developer's see a true reason to keep on keeping on!

Masterpiece. An exotic craft by the exquisite minds of all that were involved. I like to imagine that this suit was being buried in the ground and one day be found thus uncovered by the people of the distant future.

How did it get to built to the stage where Hideo thought it needed significant changes? Surely there must be a 3d computer model created first for Hideo to approve, which would then supply the exact scale measurements for each piece.

It's amazing to see Ludens up close in this video. Interesting to see how Yoji Shinkawa took inspiration from the Soviet Union space suits, I also wonder if there was any inspiration from the British Interplanetary Society Lunar space suit project too, seeing that Hideo Kojima is a massive Anglophile.

Really hoping the Ludens actually ends up being something in one of your games apart from being a simple mascot or reference, they somewhat exist in Death Stranding via the Ludens Fan but heres hoping theres even more of them in DS2

This creative team process looks immersive! Very impressive! Was the model designed with virtual software then 3D printed in the studio ?

Have you used Ai? The revolutionary advance in Ai started this year. Literary writer Bykov called ludens as "afterhumans" when humanity divided evolutionary and maybe forever. Ludens are the smartest part which will go into exile, others in hives,matrix. As I remember Strugatsky sci-fi writers invented the ludens.
