    Good video mate. You should do one for the Yamaha TRBX605FM. I'd really appreciate.
    Another good idea is to compare the TRBX505 with the Yamaha BB435. They're the same price.

      Yeah Yamaha basses are great. I actually ended up purchasing the black Trbx505. That passive/active switch is just utter gold. The only difference I saw between the 505 and the 605 is that the 605 has way better colour/finish options. So I didn't see it necessary to pay the extra $100 for it.

    Ok, I think the colour range is rotten - black brown or white - but the instrument is a pretty good well-thought out piece of kit. Played tremendously, it must be said. If the entire rest of the sound dies and just the bass is left, you can entertain the crowd long enough for a swift exit to be made at least. Contours are difficult to see but as pointed out - who wants a sharp-edged slab to grapple with anyway.

    Hi, I noticed that my bass has an excessive consumption of the battery
    in both active and passive. Basically I can play for a maximum of about 5
    hours. The battery will discharge too quickly even if it sounds only
    passively. Of course when I do not use it I unplug the cord. What can it
    depend on? It does not seem normal to me. I would be grateful if you
    give me some info about it

    • @arock1988
      @arock1988 5 ปีที่แล้ว +2

      That sounds pretty odd. The only reason I say that is that I own both a TRBX504 and a TRBJ1006J and I don't have this issue. My 6--string doesn't last as long as the 4, but 5 hours is so on the low-end it's crazy!
      I would take it into a local music shop to see if they can look at the battery compartment to make sure it's always in solid contact and not popping in and out, or that essentially that the cable is falsely staying plugged in (maybe the little piece that clicks your cable in is staying on making the bass think it still needs to run.)
      The other consideration is the batteries you are using themselves. If you are using off-brand batteries (such as a dollar store brand for example) they won't last as long.
      I hope you figure out what the issue is. These are gorgeous basses!

      I think the 500 has a sort of pickup selector 5 way switch, when the 600 has a passive/active switch. The pickups are a little different but no huge difference in sound. I may be wrong, but I think those are the big differences.

    • @savanaviolenta
      @savanaviolenta 5 ปีที่แล้ว +4

      @@CitizenOfRiften Wrong. You're talking about TRBX300 series they have 5 way switch selector. 500 and 600 series have same 3 band eq and active passive switch. Only wood and top finish is different.
