I now want a T-shirt that says "I have disappointed many a creepy older man by aging". My 42nd birthday is coming up in a couple of weeks, so it'd be right on theme. 😇
I backed the kickstarter for All the Violet Tiaras and I adored it. It reignited not only my spark for non-fiction reading but also non-fiction writing and I have been working on a pitch for my own 404 inkling.
I've recently become an Afterlight subscriber and it has brought me so much JOY! The fantasy boxes were never for me so I'm over the moon to have a romance box to look forward to every month
Your book was my favorite read of January, my TBR has increased a lot and I am happy with it. I had a similar experience with Woman's Lore, definitely need a physical copy of it too, good to know that it's available in paperback format. I've recently got into contemporary romance (loved your recommendations in a previous video), and I loved At First Spite! One of my fave reads of February. I'm collecting some of those British Library books, their gorgeous and always interesting selections.
i loved Emily Wilde's Encyclopedia of Fairies and it's sequel. i highly recommend it, and i heard there is a series similar called A natural History of Dragons : A memoir by Lady Trent.
All the Violet Tiaras sounds super interesting! And I saw that there was also a volume published on Studio Ghibli and grief, so I guess I just might have to do some book shopping again soon. 😊
@@JeansThoughts Sounds like Inklings is a bit of a treasure trove. And I do have a bit of a soft spot for all things Loki, so that one's also going on the tbr list.
Hi Jean 🙂Good haul! I don't get any book boxes, as the freight charges to NZ are always eye-watering 😞but wow, that first book with the black cover/skeleton on the 'spredg' (or however they spell it) is STUNNING! Just finished Emily Wilde's Map Of The Otherlands the other day, and it was a fun, sweet ride 🙂looking forward to the 3rd book.
I'm enjoying Truthfully, Yours by Caden Armstrong and am looking forward to Emily Wilde's Map of the Otherlands. Please do a reading vlog on Girl Online since it covers an important topic. Would love to hear your thoughts since you are a girl online.

Maybe I should start a fashion line 😂

I have the studio ghibli one! It’s next on my TBR. There are so many great ones, I love the ones on Schitt’s creek and Loki in particular.

Jean, you're from Scotland, the birthplace of the game of golf, and you're not a fan of the sport? Shocking! 😊
😂😂😂😂
Woman's Lore looks amazing, thanks for the recommendation! 🩵
It's so good! Definitely worth checking out.
