Thanks for the well done video, got my subscription! I got my books recently too, and I have the exact same ink markings on page 30 as you and in that same book I have a red dot on page 55, but that was it, the sticky page problem, I didn't think anything of either till I read the Kickstarter updates (and still don't think of as a big deal, though I had a lot more sticky pages than you). The books are amazing to me, so much good stuff in there (I love oracle tables!), can't wait to have months of island adventuring, if not years. Also I love the artwork, something about the style is right up my alley. Thanks again for posting this, I can relive my own opening now. ;)
@@relightergamer1628 thats interesting that it’s on the exact same pages. Yea I’m really pumped about them, I will likely dive into Sundered Isles after I wrap up dragonbane & 1000 year old vampire. Glad I could provide a service! 🫡
Yea I’ve been so conflicted lately on digital vs. physical storage and play. There’s something special about solo gaming when you can sit down with tangible assets.
@@Sacred_Art_of_Gaming yeah, they were extremely prompt with the replacement. I emailed them photos and they replied with a tracking number for the replacement shipment. 😂
10,000% agree with the physical only approach. I do not play RPGs with anything but physical components. Why add more screens than necessary to our lives?
You are 100% correct. I had to pull up the pledge to verify, it felt like a past life when I actually backed it. Nothing was missing, just had a little extra.
I would love to see a play through. Hope you do it.
@@uid360 i’m excited just thinking about it! Just wanna wrap some current projects up with a nice bow before moving on.
Thank you again for backing the campaign!
Thank YOU for running it! I’m looking forward to what you do with Broken Empires 😁

Nice haul! Makes me want to reconsider buying the books. I've just got the pdf's.

Sundered Isles playthrough 🏴☠️
@@AceneDean lets gooooooooooo 🌌 🚤
I just got mine, too. I also had a bit of sticking, but nothing that serious
Glad to hear it! Do you know what kind of campaign/ world you’re going to play first with it?
I had to get a replacement because i had the same sticking problem, but it was bad enough that the pages ripped trying to separate them
@@AceneDean oh no! Sorry to hear that. Really cool of Shawn to get ahead of this with the replacements.

@AceneDean that’s awesome customer service all things considered.

@@AceneDean Exactlyyyyyy, its starting to feel like a retreat from screens and I like that a lot
Fairly sure you just got an extra reference book and you’re not missing anything.
