@midwestwiffleball3 Instant replay says yes, but officially on record no, even Jim Joyce (responsible umpire) admitted he kicked the shit out of the call (unofficially confirming yes, but officially again on record, no).
Convinced if that happened to a Yankee or Red Sox back then, it would've been overturned. Instant replay has become a thing, and has made baseball better as a result.
Overall, if you wanna make a funny spin for it... first 28-out perfect game in MLB history. :P

A wild Trevor Bonham sighting, Evan with a huge dizzy bat race comeback, Jimmy Knorp doing Jimmy Knorp things on the bump, the Dirty Dan Stash, and a HISTORIC, "Historic Detroit Series". MLW Wiffle Ball is making huge strides and is looking better and better each year.

Dan needs to change his pitching style. You can tell every pitch he throw by the way he throws is.
The attention to detail Kyle put into this video was unreal. It felt as if I was watching an MLB game on Bally Sports. Very well done as always!
too bad bally sports is terrible, at least for me, I cant even watch a Twins game bc I have Dish for cable and he lost FOX Sports (It was still Fox Sports then) and they said they are trying to fix the issue, its been 5 years and we still dont have it.
That cold open was so well done, everything about it from the voiceover to the b-roll.
The first two games were tightly contested, but that third game made the Eagles look like lead contenders for the #1 overall pick in the next draft. The Diamondbacks look very strong especially their pitching, as Knorp and Flood combined for three shutouts while striking out a combined 17 and walking only four total. I feel bad they didn't get to play at Comerica Park as scheduled, but hopefully they enjoyed Harwell Field.

It's kind of a bummer that the games are almost never good when they go on the road, either really low scoring or complete blowouts

I watch alot of your guys content, currently a junior, with a major in sport management, would love to sit down and do a piece about your journey, ask some questions about the numbers that aren't mentioned much. Love the feel and the nostalgia you bring. Wouldn't be shocked at all to learn the age demo is a little older than most think. The 10yo yes is gonna live this, however the 40 year old who works a hard day's work sits down with a beer and watches this and the memories flood is more of an occurrence than one would imagine. Congrats guys on your success.

For the first 20 seconds I forgot that I clicked on an MLW video. That cold open gave me TH-cam documentary vibes and I was ready to dive into the history of Detroit baseball for the next half hour 😂

I swear Jimmy is just a lock for gold glove every year, there’s just nobody else in the league in the same stratosphere as him when it comes to defense and it gives the DBacks an edge no other team has…dude snagged a laser beam with bases loaded, thats probably 2 runs given up and an eventual L for any other team in the league, straight clutch

I've only just started watching this season, but I have to say Jimmy Knorp is by far my favorite player in MLW. A true stud, fun personality, great teamwork, he is one of the faces of the league. So bummed he just missed out on the perfect game
Been watching only since this year but I'm a huge D-backs fan. This team is just too solid all the way around. The only team that takes another title away from them is themselves. I might be getting some merch. Go D-backs!

Man as someone who has watched essentially every series for the past 4 seasons it's crazy to think Dan could be 0-3 to start a season. He's one of those guys who you just expect to go out there and just take over the game on the mound. I'm not a huge fan of his or the eagles but even I'm hoping he can break out of the funk he's got going because it's just a better watch when he's out there doing his thing.

Really surprising season so far with Preds, Eagles, and Mallards all being at the bottom of standings to start season with a combined 4-14 record

Last year the Eagles started the season 8-1. Since then, they've been 4-11 (including 1-5 this year).
They need a guy that can just hit homeruns. Right now they don't have that. Once I saw the setup for game, I thought they had a chance.... Until Dan walked his first 8 batters
