Thank you for the great video, very helpful. Malta seems to be beautiful in every city!
Prior to the video I was thinking of going Valetta. However, seems like St Paul’s bay is better for kids etc thanks.
I could always hire a car to get to places. Do you know if car hire is cheaper when you get there or best to book in advance? Thank you

Hey Sam, I'm glad you found it helpful. It really is stunning basically everywhere you go.
If you hire a car then it really doesn't matter where you stay, the island is so small. I recommend looking at car hire locally to your hotel or even ask your hotel for a local company. I have found that hiring online tends to be more expensive.
We hired a car for 20 euros a day so try to look around that mark. Hope you have a great time!

Nice video, I’m a solo traveller that’s not into night life. Which area do you recommend to me. Thanks.

I think Mellieha would be the best spot for you - it's quiet but there are plenty of places to visit if you want to meet new people and it's a good location to explore the best of the island from!

Any tips on visiting the WW2 shelter? Do you need to book. Thanks 😊

No need to book, we turned up one day and just went in. I have read that others have struggles as it seems to be closed sometimes but we had no issues

What would you recommend to do and stay for a solo female traveler?
Would I need to buy a sim card or I will be able to use my UK SIM card?
    Tours u would recommend?

Hey! It Depends on what you're looking for. If you're looking for a bit of a nightlife scene at your doorstep then St Julians is the option. If you want something more peaceful but still close to loads of things to do then Mellieha is my personal choice.
Our UK sims worked in Malta but it does depend on your provider. We are with Giff Gaff and that worked as normal with no extra charge. I recommend you check with who your with before you travel. You'll be able to pick up a SIM in the airport if not.
As for tours, I recommend having a look at twotalltravellers.com/a-week-in-malta/
This post goes into some of the best things to do in Malta including loads of the best tours. I hope that helps!
