The first client I Booked never showed up and didn't answer my texts after saying she was on her way. I texted her " Since this was a no sow appointment and the communication was ineffective your appointment will not be reschedule. Have a good day" even at the beginning we need to understand WE DO NOT NEED THOSE KIND OF CLIENTS. As to her response, well she saw it and never replied.
Thanks for the support! As for forms, I usually have a consultation form that hold all of my clients information, as well as mappings, glue used etc.. A Consent form is a written signed agreement between artist and client to set expectations and to refer back to when boundaries need to be set. No lawyers involved, but in worst case if they need to be there is proof of client agreement that the artist can provide if things turn legal.
Yes!! I totally do. If you have us on IG @lostartistrylash please reach out through there. I’ve made a video in cleansing that I think you will like. I take the information within this video and explain it to my clients so they really understand the importance of cleansing! It really does work as clients ultimately want their lashes to last long and stay healthy so if you educate them on the benefits, they often invest in a good cleanser ❤️
This was a great video! I learned a lot! I tried to find the video in your IGTV about what size lashes you should use. Can you send that link? I really wish this would’ve been a sit down in person and shoot the shit conversation because the stories to be said .. lol I actually have a client that has very hooded eyes and a high cheekbone. I find it hard to get the right pad placement for her and I find it hard to isolate her lashes on the outer corners. She likes her extensions long so I’m not sure really what to do for her
I’d love to chat with you about all of these things. Send us a DM on IG and I’ll send you the photo of the weight equivalency chart :) I am also thinking of doing another IG live very soon. I would love to touch on hooded eyes in it. Perhaps I’ll even get carson as my model (hubby) - he has wildly deep set eyes and tons of extra eye skin lol he may be perfect. Also, if you want to ask questions like this anytime, I love sending voice notes on IG as well and am always up for chatting lashes!! Xo
Please please please make a video of everything you tell your new client at their consultation🤞🏻🙏🏻 how you go over your policies rules etc 😁💕

I'm so sorry you had that terrible experience like that - How frustrating!! It's great to stick to your policies and know your worth as an artist! 💕
Thank you for taking your time to share with us. I appreciate your time.❤
Thank you for this🙏🙏
Thank you for watching
You are awesome, thank you for your advise... I find that is a very clever idea to have a sign consent, did you consult a lawyer for that?

What do you think about rinsing with saline solution vs water?
Some people swear by it. I have tried it but haven’t noticed a difference personally so opt out of the extra hassle
