I'm a 54 yo man and used to love Little House. This last 6 months I watched the show daily on Hallmark channel and relived it with the aspect of time. It brought more tears and joy now than it ever did when I was young. The World is a better place because we got to share the lives of "the Ingalls". TV needs more shows like this and The Waltons that a Grandpa can watch with his Grandkids. Family Love, Morals and Values never go out of style with the times...

I grew up watching Little House on the Prairie I was 9 years old when it started in 1974, I am 51 years old now. I loved the show back then and I still do now and I still watch it now. The cast were absolutely perfect and so was the acting and the stories and the sets and the scenery. It is one of my favourite shows of all time. Also the fact that it is based on the lives of real people who actually existed in real life makes it even better and the show never looks out of date even though it is set in the 1870's and 1880's.

I just got every season of Little House a few months ago, I used to watch it as a child, and now I watch it with my 4 year old daughter! And All of my friends come over to watch! And I swear at least 2/3 of the episodes make me cry! hehehe

Although this video is several years old & we've said goodbye to even more cast members, it still brings back fond memories. I grew up watching the show & introduced my daughter to it when she was old enough to understand it. I was lucky enough to meet Dean Butler in person & he signed a copy of my Little House book (which I still have). Now my family lives in the last state Laura & Manly called home & only a few hrs drive to both Rocky Ridge & the Kansas location (my daughter was over the moon to visit). LHOP was of better times & moral values that many didn't realize they were learning via TV. To cast & crew---Thank you so much for all you did & taught & for giving 9 yrs of your lives to the best family show (in my opinion) that has ever existed.

Nells Olsen, the most patient man in the world, with quite a tenderness and warmth about him always. He is my favorite character in this series. I always did relate to a kind person being saddled in life by difficult family members and he portrayed it so brilliantly.

For years they had Little House repeats on CTS in Toronto. It was a religious network but they aired Little house around 10-11 AM & then from about 1-6 they had shows like Happy Days & Family Ties. Now its' Yes TV @ almost all church or faith shows.
My Father lived this Born on a farm in neva Tennessee 1918 my grandmother and grandfather had a 4 bed one was theirs and an outhouse and raised 12 children
