    You are going strong dude, don't let the frustration take you. Personally I would like to see more math and details of how you calculated/chose the dimensions, operating pressure, temperatures and what specific impulse you expect

    Incredible work! The editing and visualisation is very well done, I enjoyed every minute of it. Also, I’m a fresher working on our own bipropellant liquid engine too, so your process documentation is invaluable to us. Thank you!

    This is so awesome! Calculating, building, testing, flying. Setbacks along the way are part of the process. That happend to my team and me aswell. This is propper rocket science! :)

    You can also use pintle nozzles to avoid detonating your reaction chamber. If you set up pintle nozzles with a spring behind them, you can make it so when the pressure inside the chamber exceeds the strength of the spring, the nozzles all close themselves.
    Successful failure, it did self throttle and maintain a near constant pressure, it also messed up the exhaust profile and shook the rocket apart during a 30 second static test.

    Love to see the progress! And it is progress, even when things go horribly wrong. _Especially_ when things go horribly wrong.
    One thing (I'd want someone to tell me) is that some of the audio balance is a bit off on some of your clips. Not too major, but a little fiddling with the levels should solve it

    Very nice video! I really love the project and your style.
    A question about the injector: Why are you throtteling the fuel and not the oxidizer? Because with the current desing, when you throttle down, you are shifting the combustion to the oxidizer rich side. That could - depending on your O/F Ratio - ruin your chamber because the hot oxidizer reacts with the steel.

    Just a tip, Stop wearing rings and a watch when machining, or you may get snagged into the machine by the chips.

    Great work so far mate. If you don't quite get the performance you need from the injector in this open loop control method. You could try and design a closed loop system that attempts to control pressure using that pressure sensor you have installed. If the pintle wobbles a bit under the forces exerted on it, and the slope of your flow coefficient is high, you could find it difficult to control the mass flow rate in an open loop scheme.

    Also, you could possibly bore out the holes on the mill with a boring head. Gives you better positional accuracy/straightness compared to the part. But probably the taper would be impossible to do then... Also glad you invested in a proper CNC lathe and don't rely on that definitely square 4 jaw chuck

    Nice work there Callum, that's a cunning experiment - give it another go.
    Liquid-propellant rocketry is all about plumbing, and plumbing is all about fixing endless leaks!
    We're working on liquids now, and of course they leak like buggery. Pressure-testing the plumbing just before you use it 'in anger' catches most (but not all!) of the leaks.
    It's just part of the learning curve.

    I would make make sure the parts seal well before hot firing lol, idk how you are going to manage to have no leaks on the screw shaft but good luck, the main sections could be brazed tho I guess

    You should invest in a micrometer, calipers are not all that accurate. I'm in the U.S. so I'm not sure what the mm equivalent would be, but calipers are really only good for measuring accurately to +/- .001", micrometer is accurate to +/- .0001". Would make your parts more accurate and reliable.

    Why not just have a fixed injector and throttle the ball valve? I'd have thought that would allow a more precise injector area while maintaining throttle control.

    Keep on failing! nobody learns anything when it works first time! It's a complex project with a lot of bloody hard things to figure out.
    It's fun to watch though (the production's getting good too, it seems like you're starting to find your style, I like it!)
