The cups and balls is thought to be one of the oldest magic tricks in the history on conjuring.
This was taken within the first few months of me ever performing it. It's gotten MUCH better over time!

Seen multiple videos of this trick performed, seen it explained, done with variations to follow along and still it gets me every time. I just love to get lost in the magic and to do it in front of people or on stage or in your case on the street and have that great a delivery is something I could never achieve. Kudos to you, man. A shame the audience couldn't appreciate the talent and practice that goes into such a performance.

I've seen the cups and balls done many times. I especially like your ending with the lime, lemon, and orange. I've seen the hat trick where you lift up the hat and a melon is there. However you're good, I like you show!
By the way, I sort of, kind of can do the basics; make three balls disappear, then make them reappear under the cups.

I was borrowing my friend's table at that time. He made it. The legs are from a restaurant supplier...They're for a server's side table. The table top was made from large a picture frame along with some foam and fabric... Hope that helps!
I love your choice at the end. Lime, lemon, and orange. My only advice is to slow down, especially the hat. Other than that, great performance.

The cups and balls is the same "closer" I used the first time I ever performed for Shane. The routine has gotten a LOT more fun over the last five years... At least, I think it has! I hope I get the chance to perform for you in person someday!

I watched you yesterday on 3rd Street and I kinda figured out the small balls part after watching this vid.....but I can't figure out the watermelon. This is awesome in person. I have seen you a few times over the years. Keep up the cool tricks. I would rather watch this than guys break dancing.

this guy's good. I don't typically like magic, but this guy's young and engaging with his growing audience, so I can see him attracting more and more fans, and hopefully that will equate to more success for him...because I'm sure it ain't easy pursuing a career in that. The gap between street magician and David Blaine is probably the biggest of any profession.

That was awesome. My inspiration for cups and balls. Just got a phoenix set on ebay, box and wand and all. I'll emulate this routine to earn my bones. I like on the last "under the cup ball reveal" how the balls are rolled towards the audience. Thanks for this routine, and the inspiration.
I'm not selling the routine OR giving it away. I suggest you learn everything you can about the cups & balls, and create your OWN routine. Or you can always buy a dvd or book from someone who is selling their routine.
Very cool. I have the Phoenix cups too and that lovely ironwood wand that comes with it. I always love the melon under the hat finisher. Such a good finale. By the way, I didn't realize every set of the Phoenix cups have those ascending tones when you strike them. Mine do that too.
If you don't mind me asking, where did u get that wonderful bag? I use a bolt bag I bought at Home Depot.

ok i do the cups and balls and iv done that routine but i want a bigger finish then the fruit and i saw the watermelon and im like :O perfect!!! but i can NOT figure it out and i really wanna do it in my act!! great video btw.

are you sure he shows you on the dvd? i dont want to by it and he duz not show. well i got them at a magic shop the brand is trickmaster you could get them online. i leaned some basic stuff from thre dvd it came with its hosted by troy hooser its good and basic but now i just make up my own stuff. like spin it? i play drums and can spin the drum sticks and a magic wand idk if thats what you mean

Are you using Chop cups or sleight?
+Connor Gaughan why does everyone say this on every video of course he is using sleight of hand he's a magician but magicians use "tricks" also... chop cups are great. you can't get a ball under the cup without touching the cup...even if you have a wand...chop cups

Set of what? Cups? They are the Phoenix cups and are no longer in production. You may be able to find a used set on ebay or you can check out the reproductions at RNT2
