This is exactly the comment I just made to a woman saying she makes idol threats all the time. Yes, we mothers throw around threats that kids usually don't take serious. But from a father, ESPECIALLY in a state of rage like this, is unnacceptable. I was raised by my dad and around many other fathers. NEVER, EVER! Have any of them spoke to their daughters like this. My dad protected me with his LIFE and he'd die before saying something like this. People who are excusing this behavior either didn't grow up with a father, had useless father /figures around or have no clear understanding of what a fathers role is. Normalizing this is absolutely crazy.
