Japan Autumn 2024 - Day 5 (Mount Fuji)

On our last day in Tokyo, we made a trip to Mount Fuji. We initially planned to go to Mount Fuji on Day 4, but chose to delay the trip by a day after checking the weather forecast. We did not regret our choice as we were greeted by a clear view of the snow-capped Fuji-san. We took the unusual scenic hike up to Koyodai Observatory to experience Mount Fuji unlike others. A trip down to Lake Kawaguchi allowed us to compare the beauty of the touristy Oishi Park and the less-travelled Koyodai.
