I spent most of that time putting sets together and watching your videos. Your videos kept me entertained and distracted from the terrible things I had been through. You’re the man Ryan.
Called Lego’s actually wonderful customer support. They know about the promotion but can’t do anything about it. Walmart customer support doesn’t even know what it is I’ve tried three times.
If bought online or in app be sure to expand the item description with the skus and the date at the very top bc mine kept getting cut off when I took a screenshot. You can't see the sku on Ryan's receipt so it failed. It's also a 3rd party so they can't look up Walmarts transaction codes
RE: Displaying Advent Calendar Star Wars Lego: Once Christmas is over and I put them away, the mini ship builds get displayed with any UCS ships I have. So the mini Tie Interceptor, B-Wing, Tie Fighter, Imperial Shuttle, Luke's Landspeeder, etc get displayed with their UCS counterparts. Just a little fun thing I do.

So for the Gasgano Walmart exclusive - (and the reason why I think many thought it was a scam) I did the exact same thing and took a screen shot on my computer of the receipt for the Walmart receipt uploaded it and the next day got the same error message. The only way that it works from online purchases is for taking a screen shot from your phone. Problem is that the screen show doesn't show the entire purchase either so on an apple phone you have to decrease the Text size (click on the AA icon) and then decrease the size from 100% to 50% and then take the screen shot from the website page that shows your purchase worked. Upload that and it will work 100%. Now you all know how to do it!. :)
Dude, I had the same problem with the promotion. It wouldn’t accept my online receipt. I actually had to print it out and take a picture of it before they would accept it. It was a real pain in the ass. I must’ve tried to send it at least a dozen times
Gasgano promo is already selling for over $80 on ebay. It took me three tries to finally get my receipt accepted. I literally had to circle (in red) the set number, date, and total price. It was definitely a PITA, but I finally got it to work.
But you could sell all the past sets to buy all those future sets at release and have money left over. Unless you mean you magically get 25yrs of future sets right now by magic. Cause then yeah I'd do that because it's awesome.
where have you seen the bowed legs? i can't find any evidence of this. Ive used 35480 on brand new figures and within 5-6 times of putting them on and off the stud it cracks. lego quality is just going down.
If you're Walmart Plus you may have to wait for the order to show as "complete" and expand the details for the item(s) you've wanted to include in the promo "receipt"... I've not submitted mine yet but will here shortly.
7:03 I agree with that, in almost every Lego minifigure when you bend the legs or even the legs were already like it brand new there is stress marks where the legs piece connects to the hip piece you can see it where they connect it’s like that on almost every minifigure. It’s just a natural thing with minifigure legs.
13:35 currently working on a short film project in college, and our camera operator now gets blamed for everything that goes wrong with the project because last semester, we did a take and the camera operator said he was rolling, but he never hit one of the THREE record buttons on the camera 😂
Other thing about the paper bag question: since LEGO prioritizes review copies of sets in a lot of cases, they send out sets with paper bags in order to advertise the shift, even if they aren’t widely released just yet. This is also due to the fact that LEGO sends reviews copies from Denmark/Europe most of the time, meaning they are usually the first to see changes, such as paper bags and the new boxes.

2 Calls to LEGO customer service about the podracer giveaway upload rejections: One service rep said: "you have to take this up with Walmart, there's nothing we can do". The other rep said they have gotten many calls on this, and it is a SnippMail issue, and Lego has nothing to do with the promotion. I asked if LEGO actually manufactured the giveaway set or if this is a scam and she said "Yes we make them, but we don't keep them in the warehouse they were all forwarded to the promotion marketing company".

I might’ve put this on another one of your videos, but I was looking for you Star Wars sets on Facebook marketplace and one guy had them pretty cheap because all he wants is the mini figs so we started talking and then I was watching your Sbarge review and my son said to me that he wanted it and I just typed to the fella that we were watching LEGO videos and he asked “are you watching Ryan do the sail barge video?” That was pretty funny. I ended up making a deal with this fella and he threw a couple extra sets for my kids to play with in a couple extra mini figures and even the Lego Star Wars trading cards for my kids So thanks for being cool!

I need to echo Bill's Hard Times message. I only ever got back into Lego because of your content, and it has probably saved my life many times over the past 4 years. An expensive way to pull yourself out of a rough spot, but unquestionably better for my body and mind than most of the alternatives. Don’t know if you’ve figured it out yet for your order, but online orders apparently have to have the status “shipped” in the screenshots before they are eligible (despite this requirement being NOWHERE in the Terms and Conditions). I pestered them until an actual human replied and that’s what finally got my order through. The whole redemption process really has more ways to trip you up than to give you the thing.

Yoooo some of the parts are actually different on the 2006 version of the turbo tank. The exhaust parts that are transparent grill pieces on the speeder are replaced with light blue grill pieces on the 06 one. Easy swap but there are small changes like that too for some reason

Ask M&R: Keychain figures have a higher quality print than playset figs. The maul and Ahsoka key chain for example have a much nicer chrome print compared to the playset figs. You’d think it would be the opposite as keychain figures often get destroyed.

The part I've heard the most used to prevent leg damage is 35480. The leg stand one sometimes causes bowed legs I've heard and seen.

I use studs with the holes in the middle of them. It’s just enough tension, but not too much.

JB Spielwaren did that Gasgano‘s Podracer as a GWP back when the Diorama came out. Nothing new from Walmart.

You have to go to order details and click "print" and save as pdf. Then submit the receipt. Called Walmart for help.

AskMandR: What are your thoughts on custom clones from “Grandpa clone customs” and “Clone army customs”? And do you own any clones from them?
Ask M&R: Keychain figures have a higher quality print than playset figs. The maul and Ahsoka key chain for example have a much nicer chrome print compared to the playset figs. You’d think it would be the opposite as keychain figures often get destroyed.
Askmandr: How due/overdue are we for a new UCS Y-Wing or B-Wing?
