I think mine has a problem with the battery box. Trying to take plate off inside of the piano to clean everything out. Bought it used and it looks like theirs battery leaks. It will sometimes work, but they cut out mid song. Thanks for the video
Yes the human element leaving batteries in these things is bad indeed. Clean it some more get the contacts as clean as you can. Thank you for the comment.
Yes that's good in the respect the motor is not froze up. But the belt that runs from the motor to the gear box has lost it's tension over the years. It will need to be replaced, so if you want it working it will have to be disassembled. The motor belt is in the front cover in the snowman it's major surgery if you are not a fix it type person, but give it a try, you can do it. 😀 Thanks for your comment and question.
@ I can usually fix anything. Was in the trades for the first part of my adult career lol. I’ll be giving it a go as there’s nothing to lose. Thanks again for the tutorial and comment. Merry Christmas!
@@tyrsog Merry Christmas to you as well. Great give it a go I say the same thing to myself before tackling a project like this. It's broken so if I fail it's still going to be broken lol.. Thanks again keep me posted on your progress or if you need further assistance.
Have you changed the batteries? Also it can be the motor is being slowed by the old lubricant over the years it dries out. That is what was wrong with the one I fixed.
@@denisescheineson6671 Hello, Thank you for the offer, but I don't do that. The money you would have in shipping back and forth and my labor cost would be a lot more that the Jingle Pal is worth. I do these videos for reference in what I did to repair or modify a item or a device. I am a computer IT tech so this stuff is what I like to do on my spare time. Give it a try to fix it yourself very rewarding if you succeed. Thank you for your positive comment. 😀
