The boat is a scott jet 3.75m (12.3") puddle hopper, it is powered by a GM LS1 V8, it has had a cam and a few other things done and puts out approx 470hp. The Jet unit is a new scott 852 jet unit spinning 15 degree impellors. Top speed recorded is 109kph. Final tune has yet to be done on the engine so there a bit more performance to come yet.

Martin Schubert got an LS1 V8 which is made by General Motors it's a 5.7 liter 350 cubic inch pushrod V8 foot aluminum block and heads typically 350 horsepower stocks to be expected

you are stupid the na and tt 2jz weights 600lbs use a light engine a 13b rotary with bigger turbo would be crazy fast. a 13b with stock seals can make 700+ in a 200lbs package
It is a 5.7ltr ls motor but I am building a stroker engine soon which will take it up to 6.8ltr. As for the cam it idles well and has solid power through the rev range.

So after 3 years how do you like the scott jet pump? getting ready to build a 2084 with a LS3 with about 410hp. looking at buying a American Turbine. no one knows anything about a scott over here in the states and honestly the replys ive gotten from the American distributor were less than stellar. the goto 3 stage over here is a Hamilton 212.
The Scott jets r stellar & R used in jet boat racing in shallow waters. Over the 1st 30 - 50 ft a Scott jet would have it over a Berkeley jet or one of the other fabulous American Brands of jet units. If u use a pre - impeller that would narrow the margin . The secret 2 getting a jet boat 2 go is HP & TQ. 600 - 750 hp pushing a decent size impeller. An A , AA. U need a minimum taco reading of 5500- 5800 RPM & 6000 to 6500 RPM would be much better. But that requires more hp. Try a Stroker LS 454 & turn the thing to 6000 RPM & U will 😀😀😀👍👍👍
