Thanks Catherine for walking me through the process. I applied for my Evisa on 30th October, and I got a message after 13 hours to rectify some errors. Logged back to the website around 6.30 am. (CT) corrected the errors, and after 2 minutes, they sent me my visa. It didn't take 24hrs guys💃💃.

I am not getting an e-visa application link in my portal
Hello can I ask- can this photo be taken with my iPhone 15pro max (it’s a great camera)!? Or do I have to go to a photo center. I know you said for Tanzania one it can be done with iPhone but not sure about Kenya one. Thanks!! @@tamararytter5310 No problem! 😊 I’ve seen a few people say they didn’t need a physical copy for Kenya, so it may have changed in the past year. I kept copies saved on iCloud and ready to go, just in case I misplaced anything. I recall with Tanzania the immigration officer last May reallllly took his time with going over the print out of my visa and inputting whatever info he needed into the system. With that in mind, I’d bring a physical copy if you can. I just don’t like other people having access to my phone, so it’s up to you. Personally, with that nice of a phone I would not let it out of my sight, but that’s just me. 🙂

I'm glad you found this useful! The visa application does say it needs to be in colour, so I would recommend following the official guidance.
Although official site does say it should be colour but with my practical knowledge and experience of going to Kenya 19 times since 2014 leading Photographic groups, I can say that black and white copy will do. I never had any issues with that, neither any of my group member had.

No, not for Kenya's e-visa application.

You'll need to resize the image/document. If you Google how to do this, there are many guides and videos out there that should be able to help you. I personally find resizing images and documents on a desktop or laptop to be easier than a mobile device. Best of luck and have a great time in Kenya!

But this is not for ordinary civilians so why are we still witnessing the issue of logging, processing plus the bad customer service?
During visa submission is it necessary to upload air ticket as their is no such option showing to upload air ticket. I have paid and submitted my form. Will i get my visa?
I’ve only ever heard of applicants needing to upload their supporting documents (such as hotel confirmation and flights) as part of the application. If you’re unsure, you could contact your nearest Kenyan embassy for further guidance.
There's a section where it said hotel reservation, that give you option to upload additional document. On the second tab of additional document, is where you upload your flight itinerary, you can screen shot it, for some reason they only take image file

Great question! They did take a copy yes, but I met someone who said the immigration official didn't take theirs. I'd recommend making two copies (at least) just in case.

How long is it good for?
The Kenya e-visa is valid for travel within 3 months from the date of issue.
Did you experience problems when paying?
Yes, the website is sometimes fiddly! If you're able to use a different browser, give that a go (Chrome seems to work best). It took me a few tries, first on my iPad and then on a laptop.
Of course not. It's not refundable. The ACTUAL problem was getting the ACTUAL visa

Hi there! I’m sorry to hear the application is giving you issues with paying. I’ve heard this has been an issue for others. You could try using a different browser, as I’m aware Chrome seems to work better the others. Alternatively, I would recommend speaking with your nearest Kenya Embassy as they may advise of an alternative payment method. Best of luck!

Super-easy? LOL! You jest surely. Kenya is losing droves of foreign cash due to complicated questionnaire. And no refund. No communication from agency. The immigration dep can approve your application, but the official acceptance normally arrives several days after your arrival date. And since you can't travel without the visa ( if you can afford to lose your initial tickets + extra hotel bill+ all the hustle), then go for Kenya.
Honestly, South African tours are more efficient and less the hustle.

Hmm, sounds like this may be the bit where it asks about previous travel to Kenya. If you've not been to Kenya, you can leave that field blank.
I'm also aware that visa applications for children ask for the parents' evisa reference number so that the applications can be linked.

In that case, if you did the evisa last time it should be your application number which you can find on your PDF visa approval. If you went some time ago back when you could get the visa on arrival, it's possible your visa was the sticker kind that go in your passport and there should be a visa number there.

No problem! Yes, it does change each time you go. I imagine many people run into this same issue, so you’re not alone. I’ve never heard of anyone being refused for not knowing their previous visa number. I wouldn’t stress too much about it. If when they do review your application and ask specifically for it, they’ll likely give you information on what exactly they’re looking for.
What if I only make bookings but didn't purchase the ticket is it ok or it's must to put the ticket

I'm still researching the correct sites mysef, however from all the videos that I've watched and appear to be credible the cost is 51 usd for the e-visa. I think you may have used a site that's not legitimate.. hope this helps

Great question! Less than a week. But, for one of my friends it was about 10 days.
