I was raised in the Mormon Church.... I grew up, and began raising my children in that too...but as an adult, I finally humbled myself, and really began to look. I started reading the New Testament, and was completely blown away! The Jesus of the Bible, is NOT the Jesus of the Mormon Church! We were taught to not really pay attention to the cross...but I believe now, that we have to know about what happened in the Garden, and also, the cross! The cross is definitely an important part of the story!!
I bless the day, God moved Pastor Paul through my path.
I love my Bible! 13 years ago, I walked away from the Mormon Church. The history is too messy, and the lies are too deep. I proudly wear a cross, because now I know the real Jesus, and through Him, I am saved! ❤️

let the weak say I am strong in the lord. Amazing that the word of God is so powerful. I have decided to live for him alone and let him control my life. AMEN

Is it possible in verse 17 that Paul was saying baptism is no longer needed because we are now saved under Grace , which was the gospel he was preaching

Water baptism was never "needed" from a salvation perspective. It has always been an act of obedience and identification with Jesus. But it has never been a requirement for salvation.

Jesus wasn't a "weak" Messaiah but rather a "humble" Messaiah.
The message is the same but Christ was anything but weak.
