EP 3: Big kid Jake is planning a 1920s gangster film inspired wedding to bride-to-be Stef who dreams of a classy affair. With $25,000 and just three weeks can he pull it off or will it be a disaster?

I think they tell their fiancé exactly what kind of dress they want then they go try on something completely opposite and act like they love it so when the fiancé picks a dress they can have the drama that everyone expects from these shows.

Yeah am sure they must have a plan most if them for sure, normally with tv shows you don't get a lot of time though ,when they tell you it starts quick. And lots of interviews ,you might not be guaranteed a spot ,but yeah the could be prepared just in case lol .I would .
They must do that because personally, I'd be running the other way for most of these weddings.

Most of the brides set unrealistic goals for their weddings. And the grooms come off as doofuses spending too much on the buck, transportation and sometimes an entrance. Jake the snake embarassed all men. HOw could he disrespect his bride and her bridesmaids with the stupd gangerster theme and those hideous bridesmaid outfits They were not figure flatting and they looked like costumes not wedding dresses. I almost wanted to kick him where the sun doesn't shine.
No brides DONT set unrealistic expectations goals.its what SHE DREAM about ALL her life .there’s NOTHING UNREALISTIC ABOUT IT?cause obviously..the groom is get ALL HE WANTED.🙃that’s NOT FAIR. And she just has to accept it.😢

Is it a gender oriented issue that the guys spend ludicrously for a grand entrance, or transportation. Add to that stupid hen and or buck parties. I realize that different countries have different social rules. In Canada and the USA the wedding party pays for the hen/buck parities and their clothes which saves a lot.

I don't think Taryn and Jason's wedding was all that happy. The bride really had to think and struggle if she liked or accepted the dress. It was an ok dress but didn't really look like the Bride's choice. The pale pink bridesmaids dresses were a big fail really. THe pale pink did not read well and honestly was not complimentary wiht the bride gown if anything competed because it read dingy white not a good look. If I remember correctly bride was think about $110 dollars per meal and didn't Jason spend like $12.25 per person? I appreciate the thought Jason tried but really he organized a party not a wedding. Maybe the show focussed too much on his and his buddy's drinking but maybe some of that drinking money could have gone to the wedding.

That mascara Stef wore to her dress fitting is terrible. It smudged all over the place.
