Couldn't you also use the same few methods at the beginning to go into Beast Mode safely?
I find that to be THE MOST annoying thing in PvP. The fact that Beast takes SO LONG to pull off.
I basically just resort to using "Candy Beam" and then pull off my transformation, so they aren't given enough time to break my guard.
But even that fails from time to time.
