About 15 of my bottles are through your reviews or recommendations. I blind buy everything. I am impatient. I guess I appreciate or mirror, in some ways your tastes.
What a classy collection! I also love Ambre Russe and others from Parfum d’Empire. And - very happy to see the Filigree and Shadow; I visited his studio a couple of weeks ago and My Most Meaningful Relationship was also one of my favorites from his line.
@jennyyang2257 thank you! I am afraid I can't guarantee more podcast episodes, mainly as it's hard to balance with TH-cam. It is also not easy to find guests to have on and I'm sure me talking solo on a particular topic wouldn't be that entertaining.
I was so shocked to see encesns mythique in your collection, Ive always been a fan of the older bottles personally, still to this day I always put in the effort to track down the old ones over the new. although the price is increased drastically due to rarity, i find it totally worth it.
Absolutely love your fragrance wardrobe. I’m in the southern hemisphere, specifically South Africa, looking to add spring fragrances. Was hoping for Fahrenheit but looks dense and heavy for our temperatures. Any recommendations on what to try?
A very well curated collection! I remember coming across two bottles of L’Homme Ideal Cologne for $20 each while on a cruise, and I seriously debated picking up one or both… I passed, and it got discontinued 🥲 Where’s my rewind button? lol. Ahh well! I’ve got plenty of other fragrances lol
I have the same thoughts on Guerlain's Vetiver. I think I have some negative connotation of this fragrance from my childhood. I love classics, so I bought it and tried to love it, but nope, I can't shake the smell association that I have for it. It's too bad, because I do appreciate it for what it is. And I do enjoy vetiver in other fragrances like Eau Sauvage Parfum and Bel Ami. So, I'm moving on from Guerlain Vetiver and will have to enjoy almost every other fragrance that is under the Guerlain universe. haha. Ok, Take Care and thanks for sharing! ✌
Great video and collection! I have always wanted to try Guerlain’s Habit Rouge EDT, but can never find it available to test in stores for some reason. Just curious what the association you had with the smell of Habit Rouge to get past and eventually fall in love with it?
@a_paradigm_sniff it was mainly that it was a very distinctive smell from my childhood. One of the adult male relatives definitely wore it, and so for the longest time it just felt "dated" to me for that reason...until I realise I was probably now older than they wore, so I got over it.
@@TheScentinelohhh I totally understand that Pep! It’s kinda how I can’t get over the fact that my father-In-Law wears Polo “green” after shave lotion once and a while and I feel awkward or embarrassed to wear my EDT version around my wife lol uugh. well maybe I might just try to scout out Guerlain Vetiver or Habit Rouge 😊.
Regarding Gucci Guilty Absolute, I was in a Santa Maria Novella boutique recently in Los Angeles, and one of theirs I sniffed immediately reminded me of it. Not identical, of course, but similar, and I'd imagine could be worn in the same occasions when you might wear the Gucci. I don't recall which one it was; I'd need to return to confirm. It may have been Peau d'Espagne.
@AaronDimonio I have smelled Peau d'Espagne and definitely leather accord is there. I do remember more birch tar type smokiness in it. I'll have to revisit.
Gucci Guilty Absolute is available at most Sephoras here in Canada at the moment. Also recently saw it in Saudi Arabia and Qatar and was told it actually sells really well there. I think the discontinuation is regional
Lovely collection, repurchasing is an interesting thought. For me, previous wears that are now vintage rarities very few I'd repurchase... I now realise albeit too late. 😂
I still couldn't make this shorter than 40 minutes😅
Looking forward to this!

Such a classy perfume collection!!! Nice! I am really curious to buy Le 3eme homme by Caron. Is it worth 90 € for a bottle?
