Happy Father's Day! Great flight! We always talk about your video from last winter. Snowing and blowing like crazy - 'Doesn't seem to be many other people flying RC here today'!
Happy Father's Day to you Grandpa Gary! Love your new plane, put it on my wish list! Just ordered the Volantex 750mm about a day ago! Love the Mustang could, can and will fly it every day 😆 keep em' Flyin'!
I think "smooth" is the operative word. She looked great both in the air and on the ground. I'd say it was worth the wait GG. P.S. Sunday late afternoon into early evening is one of the club's regular flying times. Beautiful day here (North Central PA) except for the high winds so no flying today.
Another great job Grandpa Gary. Take those other reviews with a grain of salt. Not many folks out there with your experience in building , set up and "gut feel" adjustment abilities to stock set up out of the box, not to mention your rock solid flying skills. HAPPY (belated) FATHERS DAY!
Great job GPa Gary! I have this plane and love the way it flies! I changed my front landing gear wheels to the low bounce Robarts and eliminated the bounce issue on my paved runway. I'm still trying to master the squirrely tail once you land. Mine does what yours did, but whips the tail around as soon as I come off power and pin the tail. Other than that, this plane is a lot easier to fly than it looks. Feather the power in on the take off and feed right rudder to avoid torque, fly it to the ground, land on the mains and you are good to go!
Happy Father's Day Gary. I have the FW190 1.5 and it flies really smooth as well. I'm still working to smooth out its landings which are a little bouncy but if I anticipate using my rudder on landing I can keep it rolling straight. Great flying. Maybe someday I'll pick up the P51 as a stable mate. Safe landings!
Ohhh It looks so good and flys incredible . Happy Fathers Day Gary . I'm curious to know what problems others have had ? I have one of these planes as well , but it's still in the box . I;m waiting till my skills improve a bit more , even though I feel completely confident now .
@@IJustGotHere That is curious . The P-51 airframes one of , if not the best , warbird and flyers out there . Fly's great in the simulator too . Can't wait to get mine up , I will of course film that glorious event as well ,, LOL . Take care . 👍🏼
Yes! I would like to see this bird a few more times on your channel. I have one in the box just waiting… I have the same apprehension you had… Can you talk us through what you are doing with the elevator as you take off next time? Was it as difficult as you originally thought?
Just remember that when the plane is on the ground and you are checking the battery percentage, that it is not under load, so the reading it's giving you is not the true reading. I always will take what it says and subtract about 10%.
Question: Have you ever enjoyed a plane so much you purchased the same plane again and alternated flying them? If you could have two of the Eflite Viper 90 or the Eflite P51 1.5 which one would you own duplicates of?
No i don't actually feel it. Sorry, I can see the plane yaw to the left or in this case towards the ground. Since the plane was rolled 90 degrees to bank through the turn the sudden throttle increase causes motor torque. 😀🛩💯
Happy Father's Day!

Great flying and a terrific landing. This 1.5m P51 is probably my favorite war bird and I’m working my way up to it. It keeps me motivated.

I have had 2 Viper 70's at the same time. I would say Viper 90 for sure. 😀🛩👍
Hi Gary, new to RC planes. You said you feel the torque. Is the plane sending that back to the controller?
No i don't actually feel it. Sorry, I can see the plane yaw to the left or in this case towards the ground. Since the plane was rolled 90 degrees to bank through the turn the sudden throttle increase causes motor torque. 😀🛩💯
Hey Gary. Have u Hurd of the new registration fee for our planes. 40 dollars per plane. Is this true
Sorry, I haven't.
