Congratulations on your house! You've earned it! You've done a beautiful job with your plants in a small space, can't wait to see what you do in a larger space and how you style them!
Congrats on the new house. I had a feeling it was that when you were getting tons of phone calls during videos and you were stressed. Can't wait to see it and how you style it. Hope we get a tour soon. But you must be ecstatic about the storage space 😁on a planty note my Brandi is a headache and my quinquinervia is growing out of control. Take care☺
WOW!! Your Calathea Warscewiczii is so beautiful! Well done. I absolutely love Calatheas and have a few varieties. My Warscewiczii lost all its leaves last year, as did my Veitchiana. I ended up putting them both into a propagation box for humidity and new shoots started emerging. You can imagine my relief. Like Phew!!! Love all the plants you have shown in this video. Look forward to the next one.
Congratulations on becoming a homeowner!! Also great choices for your favourites, the leaves on your pallidiflorum are amazing!! Super excited to see what’s to come, and would love to see a video on the ziplock bag method! Hope you’re having a great day ❤😊
As to Hoyas and being trellised with growth facing up- if you force them down though, this will force the plant to create a new vine from the uppermost nodes 😊 So if you want to create more plant without cutting, this is an efficient way. MOST of the time the vine you force down will stop growing and start as I said at the top but occasionally they’ll both grow and the original vine just finds it way up again
this calathea can do well in room humidity too.a few leaves might get crispy but the new leaves produced in low humidity will be more resilient to low humidity. but you have to make sure to water it in time. I moved all my calatheas to self watering pots and begonias in no drainage pots and my problem with them is solved
So excited to see your new home .you look happy. How is you puppy 🐶 doing. I was in vacation so didn't see any videos today starting to see your plants looks happy and healthy happy to see your smile. ❤❤💙💛💚💙🩵💜❤️🩷🧡take care and God bless.
the calathea warscewiczii is THE plant that got me into house plants. im still so obsessed with mine. It brings me so much joy to see it getting so much love in your videos 💚
Scooped myself three Anthurium bakeri seeds (lil’ red berries) from the compost heap inside the big conservatory at Kew Gardens, London. All three are alive and growing in sphagnum back at home in Canada! Yours looks amazing. 💜
Very happy for this video! Also, congratulations on your new house. It’s also a goal of mine to buy a home but prices are so high here in the States currently. I can’t wait to see how you set your plants up in your new home!
Omg congratulations!!! You deserve this and so many more good things!!! And they will come to you!! Can't wait to see what surprises you have in store for all! ❤❤❤
i have an A. bakeri that lives on top of my fridge with some pothos and trailing philos and i neglect them all equally. that bakeri is still a stunner. 10/10 plant everyone should have one
Cannot wait for your video on your new home. You work so hard giving us some of the best videos and having a place of your very own is wonderful.🎉 Wish you all the best going forward.❤
Congrats on (finally?) mining to a space where you'll hopefully be able to feel at home and settle in even more 💚 On the topic of your Calathea warszewiczii (now Goeppertia): I wouldn't cut it. The leaves you grew will most likely brown and from my experience cutting Leads to rotting most of the time. If it was my plant I'd look for a taller planter where you can pot it deeper into the substrate so the empty stem can continue to grow roots. I started mine also from a single plant and now there's three in the pot - they tent to put out little side shoots on their own :) Good luck with it and happy growing! 🌱
I’m sooo excited to see this new chapter in your life! Congratulations home owner! 🥰 I hope you are enjoying the process of moving and making your new house a home!
💚 I love my pallidiflorum so so much too ! I think it gets over looked as a good beginner anthurium myself, because it is "super chill", with the suedy shimmer in the leaves. Congratulations on the new place !
@@wildfern Did you happen to fo an empty house tour? (We will turn you into XO,MaCenna 😆 an empty house tour…a moving/unpacking vlog…a decorating/plant placement vlog) I’m excited to see your vlog through it all if you documented it. Even if it’s just a montage of little video clips strung together.
I was never an anthurium person but honestly I might be converting. I’ve been growing ever more curious about buying one and getting addicted lol. Also I saw on your story about the new house and I literally got so excited for you! Congrats to the home ownership and hoping for plenty more room for you and Olive!
So happy for you! 💚💚🌿🌿 I was struggling so long with my Calathea warscewiczii, but I would not recommend cutting it just because if it gets good conditions it will shoot pops from one plant from ground - mine is working on 4th shoot rn just from one plant 😅 she would thank you for ur patience especially if she's so beautiful 💚
Oh and I would put those new roots just deeper in the ground without moss on top and shoots will pop easily 😊 hope some of this information would help you 💚 Congrats again and sending love from Poland ❤
💜 Congrats on your new place! That's so exciting! Was thinking about you today, as UPS just delivered my pots from Take to the Grave!! 😄 They're so beautiful!
Hey Fern ! So Nice video and freaking in love with your begonia 🤩 For the brandtianum, you can absolutely grow it outside of your cabinet. Mine is right behind my window and is thriving! ( I live in France, so humidity is quite bad) Send you love and good vibes ! Kisses Cylla
🩵 every time I watch your videos it just makes me want all the plants you talk about hahaha! can't wait for my bakeri to get bigger as well my vitarifolium!!
My philo brandi's leaves are coming out so small. I have her on a smaller moss pole but I'm wanting to change it out. I'm thinking about doing a chop and prop to encourage better growth
💕 It’s impossible to not love a pallidiflorum! I love mine so much too! The Bakari is soooooo pretty 😍😍 the gracile is also soooo under rated , low maintenance! So me of the leaves of my brandtianum are Hugo , they are more silvery , so pretty😍
Congratulations on your new place, Fern 🎉 hope you and Olive have so much fun there. Also, with regards to your calathea Warscewiczii, I have a big one - they grow new shoots/plants from the soil so I’m sure you’ll get a shoot soon with the greenhouse conditions 😊
My brandtianum is in a hanging basket about 18" from an east facing window. I'm in a very dry climate in Colorado but so far it's doing great. Ive had it a couple of months. Just have to really watch the soil drying out!!😂
💚 that calathea! So so pretty. And congrats on the house! I was so excited to see the photos on your insta story. The windows are glorious! So very happy for you, Fern. You deserve every happiness life has to offer.
honestly i think if you just up pot your calathea it will grow new plants! mine started as 3 small plants a year ago and is now 7 plants and thats in normal household conditions + a lot of neglect lol
Congratulations on your move by the way!! ❤🎉 that’s beyond exciting and especially since I know what the housing market is like in BC 😂😅 I’m so excited for you!! 🥰

all of these plants were gorgeous. 🤩🌿 thanks for showing us. 🩵 my fave was the pallidiflorum. i hope i can get one of those someday. i’m just now starting to expand my anthurium collection and it is so exciting. 🥰
I came on here to ask if you'd tall a little more about carnivorous plants. I'm just getting interested in them and would enjoy learning more before I add anymore to my collection. Currently have 2. Thank you
❤ whats the surprise? Im lost. But i repotted my Brandiatum the other day, my begonias died, my bakeri iis still small, my calathea died, and my pallidiflorum is short😅thanks for the pep talk. Much love.
❤❤cant wait to see your new place!!! So exited for you! Plus where do you keep your pallidiflorum?? I can't recall from your last tour video. Thats on my wish list 😁

That pallidafloram is stunning. I love those long strappy leaves that’s one I’d like one day when I have the space to get big plants.
