Very helpful. Thank you for the amazing content.
My pleasure!
I ordered this bike with Ducati gps and mount thank you I was wondering how this mounted
I can't believe that Ducati has no pics or instructions !!
Great review and hope u enjoy... good luck.
Thanks, you too!
I paid US$1000 for the Xt2 GPS in Brazil to install on the Bmw GSA, now I will have to pay another 500 dollars to adapt it to the Ducati rally... This is crazy
The noise alone is enough to skip this.
Good video.
Ducati is so f***ed up. $500 for a plastic gps mount. That’s criminal, as is everything else Ducati. I have a bike like yours and I regret ever buying into Ducati. With that said, the bike as such is quite nice.
Comparing both Iconic and Ducati oem, I think that the Iconic, made of aluminium is better quality and at around $150 much better value. It mounts just like the oem mount and also doesn't require the removal of the screen (not that it's a big deal)
Yes I totally agree !!
my garmin xt2 doesn’t seem to be tight enough on the oem mount. it tilts down whenever i do highway rides. any idea how to address this?
I have the same problem. For a mount that cost so much this shouldnt happen. It is very poorly designed. My only solution is to crazy glue it at a position that I like. Unfortunately this be be your only position and cannot be changed.
@@dockp1 Yeah, tried double taping but at highway speeds it gave away. Waiting for iconic mount and see if it helps. Ducati mount is way overpriced for what it is
That’s Italian engineering at its best. Before I bought my Ducati I hadn’t owned an Italian vehicle since the 90s, it’s sad but almost amusing to see that very little seem to have changed (for the better).
Thank’s guys for the insight. I will create my own mount and print it on the 3d-printer.
@@johnhansson8646 I moved to Iconic's , and so far no complaints.
