Soyeon & Boram tried to deal with MBK to extend their contrat to November 2017 or even December 2017 so that Soyeon & Boram could stay in group with others but MBK rejected them... and MBK said the contract might be extended at least 1 year... Moreover, no one in Eunjung, Hyomin, Qri & Jiyeon wanted to renew the contract with MBK after the expiring. So, that's why you only could see Eunjung, Hyomin, Qri & Jiyeon on stages or concert or last Tara comeback with What's My Name Album ... from August 2017..
ashley yanez in March of 2017, mbk confirmed that what’s my name would be t-ara’s last Comeback with them and in May they later said that Soyeon & boram decided not to renew their contracts until December like the other 4 members so the remaining 4 had to re-record the songs as they could not use Soyeon & boram’s voices. This goes for all their older songs as well. After the remaining members’ contacts expired on 31 December 2017, they all left mbk and have been fighting a lawsuit with mbk for the trademark of the group name “T-ARA” for a little over a year and recently won the lawsuit earlier in January this year. I’m rlly hoping for a 10 year anniversary comeback since hyomin said it could be arranged, and hopefully as 6-ARA
