I am a 73 year old Barbie collector. I bought my first Barbie at age 13. She is an ash blonde bubble cut in the red swim suit. I couldn’t afford clothes. So I made my own since my mom had taught me to sew! One day, the neighbor was visiting and bragging about an accomplishment his daughter had done! Suddenly Dad said, go get your Barbie! I brought out my Barbie to show the neighbor! My Dad then said, look at what my son has done! He made this dress for this Doll! “ look at the workmanship that he put into this!” I then realized that Dad could have not been more proud of me as if I had e we on a football game! That’s when I realized how cool my parents were to let me pursue my interest! I am a blessed man! My Barbie room sounds like yours with layers of dolls!! Love your channel! Thanks!
I love this you guys! I'm 58 now and I was not allowed to have Barbies. The first Barbie I ever fell in love with was my older cousin''s 1968 brunette talking Barbie with the side pony. God did I want that doll !! I pretty much took over my younger sister's Barbies as they were mine, secretly of course. 1973 Quick Curl Barbie and 1974 Sweet Sixteen Barbie - I loved. Today, I've purchased every single damn Barbie that I always wanted as a kid and could never have. Thanks guys for sharing !
I'm 62yo ... I wasn't allowed to even have the boy dolls like GI Joe when I was a kid! Five years ago I just started buying / collecting dolls / toys .... I have Barbies, Monster High, Rainbow High (boys mostly), Fugglers and LEGO. I work as a Disability Support Worker and I've been collecting dolls with disabilities ... super excited to discover Share a Smile Becky .. I'm gunna get her ... thanks ! You're both gorgeous and inspirational x
Oh that’s awesome!! Yeah the whole debate about gi Joe being a doll vs an action figure is one of the silliest things in history. Forcing ‘masculinity’ on a 5 ur old? Come on lol ❤️❤️
What a treat getting a video with your twin too! Makes me sad that you weren't allowed to play with Barbies as children. I love how you've got all the Barbies you ever dreamed of now!
I remember one Christmas season when I was a kid, my parents took my little brothers and me as every year to choose the toys we wanted for that Christmas, and while my brothers were choosing their toys, roaming for the store a box with an airplane pilot Ken caught my attention, I didn't even realize what kind of other toys were around it, I took my mom and dad, may he rest in peace, to show them what I wanted, I didn't realize it was the Barbie aisle, and told her that I wanted that pilot for Christmas, my mom turned to look at my dad and asked him if they should buy it, which It seemed strange to me but I didn't give it much importance, my dad simply saw me, smile and said, let's buy it for him. That Christmas it was my favorite toy out of all the ones I received from my parents, but that same morning I saw a TV commercial where the same pilot Ken came with a flight attendant Barbie with girls playing with them, so I decided not to take it out to play with it outside the house or show it to my friends , and I only played with him inside, I never told my parents that I had discovered that Ken was a girl's toy. Now I collect Ken, Bratz Boys and Marvel Legends, DC and WWE action figures and some Holiday Barbies, especially Bob Mackie ones among other dolls. Hugs from Sonora, Mexico.
Yeah, it’s sad for kids to realize they’re ‘going against societal norms’ at such a young age. Really not something they should even have to consider ❤️❤️
I had lots of Barbies as a kid. My mom even used to make clothes for them, it was never an issue. My whole family didn't make any deal of it - I could play with every toy I liked. Everything was fine 'til I got older, went to school and noticed other boys didn't play with dolls. The first 2 or 3 years of school were still pretty ok, but then too many people around, kids, friends, teachers etc. more and more gave me the feeling owning dolls wasn't "boy accurate". It's a tricky age and when I was like 11 or 12 I finally got rid of all my Barbies, She-Ra's, everything pink or cute etc. and only kept my He-Man, Dino Raiders, M.A.S.K and stuff like that. I got ashamed so much that I even denied ever having owned any Barbies. Sadly, even an open minded Family can't beat small town narrowminds and village schools it seems. At the age of 23 I started my collection of 80s toys, mainly He-Man (some She-Ra and Golden Girl hidden in the back) but it took 15 more years before I dared to start collecting stuff like Rainbow Brite or Care Bears. Sadly, a slight feeling of shame never really went away, even to this day. Anyway: Love your content - we need to see more grown up men being proud owners of a Barbie Collection, My Little Ponys or Polly Pockets 😊👍
Ah nice!! Yeah I loved he man, but she ra was a bit too close to a Barbie it seemed. Glad you were able to get back into it!! Ridiculous that kids can’t just enjoy what they like. ❤️❤️❤️❤️
This was such a cute video, as someone who's grandma bought me dolls growing up it sucks hearing how ya'll didn't really have that type of experience, but I'm glad you're both able to have the fun and collect whatever the hell you want. Now as an adult collector it's adorable how my mom will literally marvel at my shelves in awe - saying this like "I wish I could dress like that" and "I love your collection."
Glad you had an awesome grandma! And yeah, my mom sees my early sixties stuff in photos now and goes on and on about which ones she had and how cute they are. lol ❤️❤️
I fully can connect with not being able to buy or access dolls so its nice to see your passion and joy for them at a later age. I got to enjoy dolls in my late 20’s and its brought me so much joy
I loved the video! It was fun seeing your brother, and you two together. The dolls are great!! The troll hair puff extensions for the Barbie are totally rad!!! I’m a 89’ baby, and I was blessed that my parents brought me dolls and allowed me to play with them, but eventually my father started to say I had enough dolls to play with , so I would get my mother to sneak and buy me a new doll here And there❤
I have the same story as yours , it was forbidden for boys to even ask for a Barbie doll , and Barbie in my childhood were the top seller at all toys stores , and even though the society and people didn’t allow boys to play with , we were obliged as kids to play with toys that we don’t like just to please out parents . I hate everything about my childhood. Thank you for the video it was very nostalgic and very sweet of you guys to speak out loud of everything what we as kids went through ❤
This is amazing, having your twin unbox with you. I grew up in the 60s and 70s, and when my dad bought me a Ken Doll at a rummage sale, my Mom had a fit. I started buying Barbies in the 90s, and eBay has helped me get some of the ones from my childhood. Your knowledge is outstanding. Having family enjoy and celebrating with you, makes me smile and warns my heart 🩷
Omg I have a twin sister too 🥺 She is my best friend in the world, I still love sharing my dolls and toys and stuff with her even though we're all grown up. So cute to see you guys enjoying the sick ass toys you never got to play with as kids. Polly Pocket Barbie is a legend!!
I can’t tell you how much I relate to you guys! I was a kid in the 90’s and my girl cousin my age was a Barbie fan. For her birthday one year I accompanied my aunt and my cousin to Walmart so she could get a new Barbie, and I could not contain my excitement! When I reached out for one, my Aunt smacked my hand away, hard. I was stunned! Tears rolled down my face and shame filled my entire being. I guess my Aunt felt so bad that she got me my own Ken doll shortly after. I still have him! And he is now the centerpiece of my huge doll collection 😂 if my family had let me play with them I don’t think I’d be a collector today! Loved this video and the twin nostalgia, thank you guys ❤
Ohhhhhh NO you didn't!!??!!... Well you did actually just pop the info of you having a twin and having him in the video at the same time!!!! Great to learn and see! You always be keeping it fresh and us on our toes!! Im kinda getting the idea that you both ( definitely your brother at least) are in the Beauty Industry... Hair Stylist perhaps??!!??..
The nostalgia! Ah! Omg! You snatch that trolls wig off! lol! Enjoyed seeing you and your brother. Like two kids opening Christmas gifts. My younger brother always inherited my dolls. When we got him his first Barbie after playing with those ugly trolls I remember it like yesterday. Oh how much fun we had.
I had a very similar upbringing. My folks weren’t thrilled about the idea of getting me dolls. I luckily had an older sister who allowed me to play with her dolls, with her, and by myself. I also thought that idea was history, but I recently heard a mother say to her young son who had stopped by the “pink aisle”, “Those are girl toys.” I interjected and said, “Not necessarily!” and she just laughed, most likely out of her obvious discomfort for being called out.
OMG yessss the sense of dread even THINKING of walking down that pink aisle. Passing by it quick and looking down the aisle and pretending to be lost or looking for another aisle 😅😅😅 I didn’t realize we were closer in age than I assumed! Those 90s boy pangs are real AF
Well, as if this channel wasn't fun enough, you go and double the fun factor. Looking forward to what you decide to collaborate on next. Love the dynamic of the pair of you. Well done 😊
It’s sad your parents weren’t able to allow you a full and free childhood. Still, there is a kindness in both of you that speaks to good parentage. You are both enjoying your freedom of expression now, in adulthood, and that’s so restorative! Your channel is about more than boys and barbies. Much more. Well done.
Yes I am a guy and as a boy my mean dad forbid dolls! I am making up for it today with Barbie’s and AG dolls!!! I agree! You two are the cutest boys ever!
61 year old here, I grew up in a small city in New Zealand. I was allowed dolls, one of which was Busy Barbie, (1972?) also NZs Barbie clone Debbie the Elegant Doll. I now realise how wonderful my parents were, sadly they have both recently passed away, but wow how lucky was I. Ps love you guys.
Do you have one of the funnest doll collecting channels I have ever seen! I would love to see other videos than just reviews too, I would like to see the trivia video and maybe a doll room tour someday. I love 90s Barbies but right now I am focusing on the 60s and 70s ones. Plus didn't know you had a twin!
Love this video and i love your channel, I'm a 32 year old man who's finally living his Barbie and doll dream and getting to start and build up my own collection, of which is getting out of control already 😂. Seriously, i don't care though, I look at all my beautiful dolls and they make me so happy. Keep up your fab vids ❤
Stop It!!!!!!! 😮😮😮 There are two of these gorgeous doll loving dreamboats on this planet 😮😮😮 This is so heartwarming to watch you live out your childhood dreams with us🥹 Bless your sweet hearts 💖
You guys are adorable! I ‘m so happy that you guys can now play with Barbie’s! I am a baby boomer and I remember the boy toy and girl toy thing! -I made sure not to place labels on my daughter’s play stuff! Kids just want to play and be happy period ,so they can grow up and be emotionally happy adults! 🫶🏾🫶🏾
I really enjoyed watching this segment ! I was born in 1958 the same year Barbie was created. She & her friends & family have always been on my radar , some of my earliest recollections are of girls playing with them in their trunks , the clothes in my neighborhood. Fast forward to the 60s and I was obsessed with Barbie but like you guys it wasn't ok with my parents for me to play with Barbie dolls. I would hide my neighbors doll ( a lemon bubble) in mine and my brothers bed room. I would play with her when my parents went out. My next door neighbor Kim was my best friend and I played in her basement With her Barbies & the first dream house. We are still friends and I can recall everything single thing she had . I have since collected everything in that case and all of the dream houses ! Last I want to add my parents would take us to Sears & I would wander into the girls toy section and there were all the mod dolls and fashions I wanted so badly (1969) that now as an adult I have in my collection ! I am very cool with the fact my parents were not ready for me to be barbie obsessed in my childhood ! as an adult they came around & understood it ,and so much more ...And I am still quite obsessed & have collected pretty much everything out there... Although your segments have alerted me to many things I wasn't looking for until you have highlighted the 90s & 2000s I have made some amazing life long friends... The Doll community rules & thank you again for creating my fave TH-cam Chanel ! Cheers Matt from the friendly Skies ***
Thanks so much!! What an amazing time to be introduced to Barbie! I think a lot of us collectors dream about going back in time and heading into Sears to buy out the Barbie section. lol if I’d been in elementary school during the mod years I don’t know if I could’ve stopped myself from demanding a Barbie. Easy to say now I spose lol I’d imagine parents were even more rigid the further back in time we go. ❤️❤️❤️❤️
I was happy enough to grow up in the 70s with parents that let me play with Barbies because that is what I wanted to play with. Love you two walking down the memory lane. Thanks a lot.
So I’ve followed you on IG a while but I just discovered you’re YT channel last night and I’m so glad I did! And wow you have a twin how cool! What a bummer your parents didn’t let you have dolls I hope they have changed now. My oldest is 27 and wanted a Barbie party for his 4th birthday so my husband and I went all out even a Barbie piñata. He wanted to collect Kelley dolls so he had a huge collection. ❤
Still have that feeling going to the pink section of the toy store. I had a 68 Talking Ken and played with my younger sisters Barbies with her. The shame LOL
Omg I didn't know you was a twin, you both are so handsome ❤❤, I loved totally hair Barbie, I had one great memories of my childhood, I loved Barbie since I was a kid and still to this day as a grown-up and my kids too ❤❤❤
Wow! You guys are adorable! And yes, I was that boy too that was not allowed to play with Barbies. I used to play Barbies with my cousin when my dad was not around, so basically hidden, however, I was lucky because I was allowed to have She Ra dolls, I don't even know how was that possible for me, but I guess is because I also loved Masters of the universe and I guess my parents tought they were all the same, but my father made me give them away I guess because he noticed the difference of them with the rest of my action figures and that was really devastating for me as I loved them. Now a days I am 40 and collecting Barbies, better late than never and I am very happy about it! ❤❤❤ I hope to see more videos of you with your brother! Loving the content you do!
I love that y’all did this! I wasn’t allowed to have Barbies growing up and I’ve definitely been collecting them lately…healing a part of my childhood, haha. I look forward to more content.
Hi there! I’m David from Barcelona! I love your channel. As you, I was not allowed to have Barbies when I was a child…I only had one original 1977 Superstar Barbie but one day she vanished…father intervention I guess…I started collecting them when I was 22 years old, now I’m 48 and there are aprox. 600 Barbies in my collection :)
I love you guys. I love Barbies. Not only are you handsome you’re a lot of fun. I am really enjoying your videos. I hope you do more together. You remind me of my childhood crush. Omar Sherif. Keep doing what you’re doing. I really enjoy it. With that said yes I’m old and I still have my first number one Barbie.💖 i’m living two of my favorite things, Omar Sherif, and Barbie.
I am so happy to see you both playing Barbies. I was one of the girls who had Barbie but to show my age I had Quick curl Barbie! 😂 Thanks for sharing your passion for these dolls. Seeing your twin brother was super fun😃
Love this video! I am sorry you guys never got to have the dolls you wanted as kids. I can relate to the stigma of collecting dolls - I feel ashamed of having a doll collection as a grown woman because of what people think. Every time someone comes over, I clear them out and hide them. I am glad for the online doll collecting community who get it.
Aw I hear ya. I think in the end, people wind up respecting you for doing what you want, regardless of outside opinion. Life is just too short ❤️❤️❤️❤️
OMG! I wanted Totally Hair Barbie so badly… the commercial always mesmerised me. I never asked for her, because I was a “boy”. But my mom would have prob bought her for me if I asked….
I unboxed some of my 90s collector Barbies recently, too. They aren't worth much, and their boxes were huge. I kept some in the box. The ones on the bottom shelf for my cat can't get to them.
There are two of you!!!! 🤩I am just 2 years older than you, but my story is kinda similar. I have a collection now. I had 2 Barbies as a child - a bit luckier than you, I guess. But here, in Easter Europe, we had no Barbies before 1990... So now I compensate. Big time :)
Fun video! I actually like the Polly Pocket Barbie Doll hair style but I do struggle with the maintenance of those hair through the years. As i hear and read your stories, I now wonder if or how many boys back then among my own friends/acquaintances might have liked dolls too. I am sorry to think I might have missed out playing dolls with them, it would have been so much fun.
Yeah I think there were a lot of boys who just wouldn’t dare touch a Barbie, no matter how badly they wanted to. Hopefully things are a bit different now. ❤️❤️
You two are adorable 😍 loving your channel man. Just started a month ago my little adventure into collecting Barbies from the 90’s and 80’s. As a child I had trolls too tho 😂
Earring magic midge was the only doll I got from that period of 93-96, otherwise I decided to start zeroing in on the vintage dolls from early 80s and backwards but then the model muse thing pulled me back into the newer dolls
Loved this! My auntie gave me my first Barbie when I would have been about 3 years old and it caused a bit of controversy in my household 😆 luckily my parents recognised that she was my favourite toy and let me keep her and ended up getting a couple more but my parents were always trying to push me towards Action Man and small action figures. Though just before I started school at age 5, my parents sat me down and said I wasn’t allowed Barbie anymore because “the kids at school won’t want to be friends with you”…. Thank god I ended up getting a sister a few years later 😆 I got back into collecting a while ago and now I have over 100, slowly healing that child trauma haha 💖
This was such a fun video! Love seeing you with your brother, and look forward to any other videos you do while he's visiting 😊 I'm glad you both got to fulfill your childhood desires, though it always makes me sad to hear from guys who weren't allowed to play with dolls as kids. And I totally get what you said about keeping dolls in their boxes! I have a lot of deboxed dolls, but so many I love keeping in their boxes because the artwork or the layout of the packaging is just so nice Also, I wasn't expecting that movie reference! I used to quote that film all the time and the road to tell line is one of my favourites haha (I'm not sure if YT will censor my comment if I write the title of the movie ) Yikes, sorry for the novel of a comment 😅
As a preteen My mom collected black barbies troll dolls angel dolls and giant stuffed animals in the 90z and i would sneak and play with the barbies hair! Thanks for bringing back those wonderful memories😁
I'm so glad you finally get to enjoy Barbies!!! If you really love them, it's cruel and unusual punishment to be denied them!!! 2:25 I always *hated* the Barbies with "too much hair"! It wasn't realistic, and the hair got in the way of the fashion, which was the main attraction. I avoided the Totally Hair Barbie, but loved the groovy dress!
Growing up in the 70's I wasn't even allowed to have the 8 inch Mego female superheroes, but I played with Barbies with my girl cousins, and my Mom's original Ken and bubble cut Barbie at my Grandma's house. Later on I used to find Barbies at garage sales and "pocket" them... Now, I have as many as I want lol I do one of a kind superhero dolls and celebrity dolls. You are both freakin adorable btw.
Thanks so much!! Glad you found an outlet as an adult! SO many boys out there desperate to play with Barbie and just can’t. Honestly insane to think about. ❤️❤️
I was lucky enough as a young boy that my dad bought me my first doll, a cheap barbie knockoff, and i had 2 younger sisters so we all played Barbie together. So happy for yall that you can have your Barbie fantasy as adults at least! Do the trivia!!
What you say is so true... in the 90's you couldn't even have a Ken (because it was a girl's toy). I adored them because they were huge in size compared to the male child dolls (he-man, rambo, etc). Anyway, I have an ultramini collection of kens that I adore now. Please more videos! dolls and two beautiful men talking... what more could I ask for?
Ok so, 3 things to say: 1. I loved the video, very entertaining. 2. Yesss to the trivia or another unboxing video, i fully support it 🫶🏽 3. Of course I was a young boy wishing to have Barbies but always got told “no” because they were “girl’s toys” so naturally, I am making up for that now as an adult and im starting my lovely collection. So far I’ve got 7 Barbies 🤩
I was real gracious and lucky to have a mother who was open minded and understanding who let me play and have both boy toys and girl toys even though my dad was the typical "BOYS DON'T PLAY WITH BARBIE DOLLS yet he never mustered a word when I had a gi joe In hand but other then that I had fun most of my childhood I'm glad you guys are finally getting a chance to explore you're toys you wanted growing up and I would love a barbie trivia video 📹
RE Deboxing, yeah. Very personal choice. For me, a spectacular background in the box makes a difference. Sometimes it might be the doll pose- if it's something I can't achieve & it looks good, she's more likely to stay in box. Sometimes it's just a space issue. I don't have infinite storage space. RE not allowed to have Barbies as a kid... I live in the South & it wasn't SPOKEN, but I knew I wasn't to ask for African American dolls as they were "not for me." So, my Julia & my Malibu Christie are among my very favorite dolls now. They're so gorgeous! :) RE more twin vids, yes please! :)
Nice!! Yeah, the artwork is another great thing about the packaging, especially on all the disco Barbies. 🙌🏻 crazy that African American dolls were seen as ‘not for you,’ but as someone from the south, not hard to believe. I’m with ya, Christie is my absolute favorite character. 🙌🏻🔥❤️❤️
I am a 73 year old Barbie collector. I bought my first Barbie at age 13. She is an ash blonde bubble cut in the red swim suit.

That’s when I realized how cool my parents were to let me pursue my interest! I am a blessed man! My Barbie room sounds like yours with layers of dolls!! Love your channel! Thanks!
“It looks like Mattel made it!”
Oh wow!! That’s amazing! Glad you had such cool parents!! Thank you ❤️❤️
Did you work in apparel/fashion in your grown up years?
I love this you guys! I'm 58 now and I was not allowed to have Barbies. The first Barbie I ever fell in love with was my older cousin''s 1968 brunette talking Barbie with the side pony. Thank you!! You just listed some of my favorites! Sweet sixteen is a bit underrated, with her sweet shag cut. 🙌🏻❤️❤️❤️❤️
"Hi Barbie 👋!" Hi Jack!!! Wow!!! Twins!!!!! I love it!!! Please keep him on!!!!💗
haha noted! Glad you enjoyed it!❤️

What a treat getting a video with your twin too! Makes me sad that you weren't allowed to play with Barbies as children. I love how you've got all the Barbies you ever dreamed of now!
Thank you!!🤗
I'm a grown man and I'm still keeping my door shut on my dolls room when my family comes over
I hear that. lol sometimes the judgement never goes away ❤️❤️❤️❤️

Those boxes are so tempting haha❤️

Glad to hear that!! I know for a lot of adults, even women, it can be ‘shameful’ to go down that aisle to shop for yourself. Which is just silly ❤️❤️
A masculine, hot doll collector…damn! Im all in.
Haha why thank u!!❤️
I loved the video! It was fun seeing your brother, and you two together. The dolls are great!! The troll hair puff extensions for the Barbie are totally rad!!!

And he is now the centerpiece of my huge doll collection 😂 if my family had let me play with them I don’t think I’d be a collector today! Loved this video and the twin nostalgia, thank you guys ❤
Thanks so much!! Yeah every toy was so gendered it’s ridiculous. Shaming a kid for wanting a certain toy? Absurd❤️❤️
I had the same experience as a little kid, I wanted Barbies, but I was a boy so I coudn't get them, now I can haha beautiful Barbies, loved the video!
Sweet!! Thanks so much!!❤️
Omg you guys are double trouble. You two are adorable geeking out together. Your brother lit up like a little boy over the troll barbie.
Haha thank you!!❤️
THE WAY I still tense up when i walk down the doll aisle lol but I am so happy to see other adult collectors now. This was an awesome video as always!
Right?! lol thank you so much!!❤️❤️
This was so fun! Thanks for sharing!
Omg you’re too good to me!! Thank you so much again!! So glad you enjoyed it!!❤️❤️❤️❤️❤️❤️
Wow yes do a Barbie trivia, that would be awesome ❤❤❤
Sweet! Noted!❤️❤️
Haha thank you so much! And yup, he’s a part time makeup artist. lol ❤️❤️
Awesome dolls!! Awesome twin! ❤
Thank you!🤗❤️
The nostalgia! Ah!
Love that!! Damn how I wanted a sister just for the toys. lol❤️❤️
Now I have to go get a troll barbie. You have made me fall in luv. It's to nostalgic for me personally
Not the real life troll family “let’s cut that out” 😅😅😅😅 love watching your videos 🫶🏼💚
Haha thank u!!❤️
I had a very similar upbringing. My folks weren’t thrilled about the idea of getting me dolls. I luckily had an older sister who allowed me to play with her dolls, with her, and by myself. I also thought that idea was history, but I recently heard a mother say to her young son who had stopped by the “pink aisle”, “Those are girl toys.” I interjected and said, “Not necessarily!” and she just laughed, most likely out of her obvious discomfort for being called out.
Nice. 👍🏻 Telling a kid certain toys aren’t made for them is just gross. Glad you had a sister to make it a little easier!! Thank you!❤️❤️
Nice to see your twin bro too, btw Totally Hair was one of my favorite during the '90s
Cute overload
❤❤❤❤❤😊yay 2times the coolness
OMG yessss the sense of dread even THINKING of walking down that pink aisle. Passing by it quick and looking down the aisle and pretending to be lost or looking for another aisle 😅😅😅 I didn’t realize we were closer in age than I assumed! Those 90s boy pangs are real AF
Right?! Even the little girls in the pink aisle seemed to judge. lol ❤️❤️
Well, as if this channel wasn't fun enough, you go and double the fun factor. Looking forward to what you decide to collaborate on next. Love the dynamic of the pair of you. Well done 😊
Hey thanks so much! Glad you enjoyed it!❤️
It’s sad your parents weren’t able to allow you a full and free childhood.
Haha thank you! Glad you pushed through and got them later in life!!❤️
Beautiful hair on the troll Barbie
Right?!❤️🔥
61 year old here, I grew up in a small city in New Zealand. I was allowed dolls, one of which was Busy Barbie, (1972?) also NZs Barbie clone Debbie the Elegant Doll. I now realise how wonderful my parents were, sadly they have both recently passed away, but wow how lucky was I. Ps love you guys.
You’re both so lovely :) I think hanging out with you guys would be hella fun, good job chaps
Thanks so much!! ❤️❤️❤️❤️❤️
Thanks so much!! The last vid I did was a tour of the Barbie room, in case you missed it!❤️❤️
@@Thedollswitness I'll check that out thank you!
Thanks so much!!!! That’s awesome! There are just too many great outfits and dolls to consider 😍❤️❤️
@@Thedollswitness indeed, the choice of Barbie beauties, are just endless 🩷
I like seeing them in their boxes too. But love having some out to play with. Thank you guys
sooooooooo cute, love it. love the energy.
Thank you! 🤗❤️
Stop It!!!!!!! 😮😮😮 There are two of these gorgeous doll loving dreamboats on this planet 😮😮😮 This is so heartwarming to watch you live out your childhood dreams with us🥹 Bless your sweet hearts 💖
Haha thank you so much!!❤️❤️
You guys are adorable!
🫶🏾🫶🏾
Thanks! Yeah, shaming a kid for wanting to play with a certain toy is just mean, and says more about the parents than the child. ❤️❤️
Cool you guys got them
You have a twin brother... awesome nyo!
LOVED this video! You two are so much fun!!! ❤
Glad you enjoyed it! Thank u!!❤️
That’s great!! Thank you!!❤️
Yes, to the trivia!!
Love this channel so much ❤ you both are great
Thank you so much!
Glad you found me here!! And nice!! It’s so crazy to imagine telling a 4yr old they can’t have a toy because it’s ‘for girls.’ lol ❤️❤️❤️
Still have that feeling going to the pink section of the toy store. I had a 68 Talking Ken and played with my younger sisters Barbies with her. The shame LOL
Haha takes years for that feeling to go away ❤️❤️
Omg I didn't know you was a twin, you both are so handsome ❤❤, I loved totally hair Barbie, I had one great memories of my childhood, I loved Barbie since I was a kid and still to this day as a grown-up and my kids too ❤❤❤
Thank you!! Yeah totally hair is still one of my top ten favorite Barbies!❤️
hahaha I think I'm in love!!!
❤️❤️❤️❤️
Thanks so much! Yeah I loved he man but she ra just read too girly for me to consider, but of course I wanted them. ❤️❤️❤️❤️
I love that y’all did this! I wasn’t allowed to have Barbies growing up and I’ve definitely been collecting them lately…healing a part of my childhood, haha. I look forward to more content.
Happy to hear it!! Thank u!❤️❤️
Iconic we need more videos
Hey David!! Thanks so much! Impressive numbers there!!❤️
The Polly pocket doll the Stacey was so fun I love the other pieces of that collection
“Young” 1985 boy here 100% same story lmao. This video was so much fun thank you ! 💖
haha nice. Glad you enjoyed!❤️
I am so happy to see you both playing Barbies. I was one of the girls who had Barbie but to show my age I had Quick curl Barbie! 😂
Thanks for sharing your passion for these dolls. Seeing your twin brother was super fun😃
Glad u enjoyed it! Barbie in the 70s was killer. Lucky kid!!❤️❤️
I love the PP Barbie so much 🤩🤩🤩🤩🤩 great video❤
Right?! I honestly don’t know if my mom would’ve bought one or not. I’m thinking not, but ya never know. lol❤️
I unboxed some of my 90s collector Barbies recently, too. They aren't worth much, and their boxes were huge. I kept some in the box. The ones on the bottom shelf for my cat can't get to them.
So relatable 🙌🙌love what you guys are doing 🫡
There are two of you!!!! 🤩I am just 2 years older than you, but my story is kinda similar. I have a collection now. I had 2 Barbies as a child - a bit luckier than you, I guess. But here, in Easter Europe, we had no Barbies before 1990... So now I compensate. Big time :)
Sweet!! Glad you get to live your fantasy now!❤️❤️
Awesome!! Glad to hear you’re getting into collecting! And thank u!❤️❤️
Love your videos and would be great to see a trivia video with you and your brother
Thanks!! That one’s definitely coming!!❤️❤️
Earring magic midge was the only doll I got from that period of 93-96, otherwise I decided to start zeroing in on the vintage dolls from early 80s and backwards but then the model muse thing pulled me back into the newer dolls
Nice 👍🏻 earring magic is a really fun line ❤️❤️
I really enjoyed this video. You guys are great. ❤❤
Thank you so much!!
Happy to hear it!! Yeah, the only thing kids look forward to having are toys. To then shame them for their choices is gross. ❤️❤️
First time my focus switch from Barbie to Humans. ✨🤩✨🤩✨
❤️❤️❤️❤️
This was such a fun video! Love seeing you with your brother, and look forward to any other videos you do while he's visiting 😊 I'm glad you both got to fulfill your childhood desires, though it always makes me sad to hear from guys who weren't allowed to play with dolls as kids.
And I totally get what you said about keeping dolls in their boxes! I have a lot of deboxed dolls, but so many I love keeping in their boxes because the artwork or the layout of the packaging is just so nice
Also, I wasn't expecting that movie reference! I used to quote that film all the time and the road to tell line is one of my favourites haha (I'm not sure if YT will censor my comment if I write the title of the movie )
Yikes, sorry for the novel of a comment 😅
Haha thanks so much!! And nice clocking that quote! Such a cute movie, with such an unnecessary title. lol ❤️❤️❤️❤️
Thanks!
Omg thank you so much!!! So glad you enjoyed the vid!!!!much appreciated ❤️❤️❤️❤️
As a preteen My mom collected black barbies troll dolls angel dolls and giant stuffed animals in the 90z and i would sneak and play with the barbies hair! Thanks for bringing back those wonderful memories😁
Nice!! Happy to share!!❤️❤️
Omg yeah both that dress and the variant are soooo good. 🙌🏻❤️❤️
"Really cute."
Gospel according to Romy & Michelle 🙏
Nice catch there!! I can’t even tell you how many times I’ve seen that flick. ❤️
Love the Teddy Fresh❤
Thanks!!
I was lucky enough as a young boy that my dad bought me my first doll, a cheap barbie knockoff, and i had 2 younger sisters so we all played Barbie together. So happy for yall that you can have your Barbie fantasy as adults at least! Do the trivia!!
Happy to hear you add Barbie access when you needed it most! lol❤️❤️
I had trolls in the 70's
What you say is so true... in the 90's you couldn't even have a Ken (because it was a girl's toy). I adored them because they were huge in size compared to the male child dolls (he-man, rambo, etc). Anyway, I have an ultramini collection of kens that I adore now. Please more videos! dolls and two beautiful men talking... what more could I ask for?
Haha thank you!! And yes! I had so many Motu figures but they still looked puny next to barbie. lol ❤️❤️
TWINS! Double my pleasure double my fun! YAY! xoxo
this is healing to watch
Happy to hear it!❤️❤️
Ok so, 3 things to say:
1. I loved the video, very entertaining.
2. Yesss to the trivia or another unboxing video, i fully support it 🫶🏽
3. Of course I was a young boy wishing to have Barbies but always got told “no” because they were “girl’s toys” so naturally, I am making up for that now as an adult and im starting my lovely collection. So far I’ve got 7 Barbies 🤩
Awesome!! Happy to hear you’re making up for it today! Thank u!!❤️
No way! Im a twin too. I played with Barbie’s he played with video games.
Love you guys thank you ❤
Thank YOU!❤️
omg! Its an Elephant reunion!!
haha I spose it is! ❤️❤️❤️❤️
More more more plz 🙏💖
I was real gracious and lucky to have a mother who was open minded and understanding who let me play and have both boy toys and girl toys even though my dad was the typical "BOYS DON'T PLAY WITH BARBIE DOLLS yet he never mustered a word when I had a gi joe In hand but other then that I had fun most of my childhood I'm glad you guys are finally getting a chance to explore you're toys you wanted growing up and I would love a barbie trivia video 📹
Thanks so much! Glad you had a cool mom! Trivia is on the way!!❤️❤️
You’re dolls sound like mine, 4 layers deep 🤪 sometimes I have to check to see what dolls I have before I buy them. I have so many in my collection.
Nice! Definitely sounds familiar lol❤️❤️
