    Recipes :
    Aloo Bhujia
    Preparation Time: 15 minutes
    Cooking Time: 20 minutes
    Serves: 3-4
    Ingredients:
    1 boiled potato
    1 ½ cup gram flour
    ¼ cup rice flour
    2 tbsp butter
    1 tsp salt
    Oil to fry
    Method:
    Grate the potatoes and mash well. Add the besan, rice flour, salt and knead to a smooth lump free dough. Attach the sev plate to the sev press. Grease the dough and put into the sev press. Heat oil to medium hot and press the dough over the oil. Remove when golden. Cool and crush the sev. Store in an airtight container
    Bhakarwadi
    Preparation Time: 15 minutes
    Cooking Time: 20 minutes
    Serves: 3-4
    Ingredients:
    1 ½ cups flour
    3 tbsp besan
    2 ½ tbsp oil
    1 tsp salt
    2 tbsp white sesame seeds
    1 tsp cumin seeds
    1 tsp fennel seeds
    2 tsp poppy seeds
    ½ cup desiccated coconut powder
    ½ cup roasted peanuts
    1 tsp coriander powder
    1 tsp garam masala
    1 tsp Kashmiri red chili powder
    1 tsp amchur
    1 pinch hing asafoetida
    1 tsp salt
    2 tbsp sugar
    oil to fry
    Method:
    Add oil, salt and besan to the flour and rub well. Add little water at a time and knead to a smooth, stiff dough. Rest the dough for 20 minutes. Meanwhile, heat 1 tbsp oil in a pan. add the hing, cumin and fennel seeds. Add the sesame seeds, coconut and sauté for 1 minute. Remove from heat. Grind to a powder with the spices and the peanuts.
    Add 1 tbsp besan and 2 tbsp water to the mixture and mix well.
    Break the dough into 2 balls. Roll out each ball into a large rectangular roti. Spread half the mixture. Roll into a tight roll. Pinch the sides to seal. Cut into ½” thick slices. Fry in medium hot oil till golden & crisp. Cool & store.
    Murukku Sticks
    Preparation Time: 15 minutes
    Cooking Time: 15 minutes
    Serves: 3-4
    Ingredients:
    1 cup Rice Flour
    1 tbsp roasted chana dal flour
    2 tbsp besan
    2 tbsp salted butter
    1teaspoon salt
    Water as required
    Oil for frying
    Method:
    Rub the butter well into the salt. Add the remaining ingredients and mix well. Knead to a smooth dough. Attach star nozzle t othe sev press. Fill the dough into the sev press and press out murukku sticks over medium hot oil. Remove hen golden and crisp. Cool & store.
