  • Directly translated, Baba Yetu means "Our Father" in Swahili. This rendition of the Lord's Prayer says, "Father I love you, Father I praise you". Talisman alum Christopher Tin used the lyrics from this song to compose a theme for the popular Civilization IV video game using Talisman for the game's recording.
Soloists: Uma Phatak, Joe Paavola, Jamie Holmstrom, Zachary Shand
    Lyrics (Swahili) and translation (English):
    Baba yetu, (Our Father)
uliye huko juu mbinguni, (who art in heaven)
jina lako litukuzwe, milele na milele (Hallowed be thy name, for ever and ever)
Ufalme wako uje mapenzi yako yatimizwe (Thy kingdom come, Thy will be done)
Jina la mungu, baba, litukuzwe (The name of God, Father; hallowed be)
Baba naku penda (Father, I love you)
Baba nakusifu sifu (Father, I praise you)

Wonderful. To me, overwhelming. I'm a friend of Deaf in Mexico. I just found your performance and can't stop watching and listening to it. And I couldn't help start signing to it. Would you allow me to use this video of yours to make a Mexican Sign Language version?
