Embroidered Knot Gardens: Owen Davies of the Royal School of Needlework [PART ONE]

Owen Davies, former Head master at the Royal School of Needlework, United Kingdom, is the author of a wonderful new book entitled "Embroidered Knot Gardens" [Batsford Press]. In 2007 Owen was a visiting instructor at the Birmingham Knitting & Stitching Show, and we join Owen for a tour of his exhibition, and a demonstration of how he constructs magnificent embroidered gardens from thread. I remember when it was news that football player Rosie Grier did needlework. I thought it was strange that a man would do anything like that. But now I think why not? It's art. It's nice ot see men do it. It's relaxing and can help a person to unwind. And I might add that Owne Davies is better than me! LOL
