100% agree buddy. The managing of this team will lead to a mediocre playoff team once again. We need to play the proper players, and TRADE LOGAN STANLEY
They're making decisions like this an AHL or WHL team. Rewarding loyalty and experience over results. They need to deploy players in the right position to succeed. Ville is being placed in a position to fail when he's constantly paired with Stanley, instead of an experienced, competent partner. Ville may need to pull a Kappo Kakko, to get traded to a better situation where he has a real chance at succeeding.
Chibbi has earned a spot. His play away from the puck has been great, and he has finishing ability. I like Morgan Barron, but I think he needs to be the 13th forward. Logan Stanley is not an NHL defenseman. Jets coaches are size queens, and it's hurting us. Stanley gets out-muscled on the boards and net-front by guys half his size, he's a slow skater so he gets beat on the rush all the time, he gets beat up in every fight. He is NOT an NHL defenseman. Fleury has had bright flashes, but he suffers from puck-panic. He's an adequate 7th D, but that's it. Heinola has outperformed Stanley in every category and has earned his spot on the roster, but he's not getting any minutes. It's looking more and more like Rutger McGroarty was bang-on in his assessment of the Jets coaching staff.
Kupari has wicked skill. His zone entries and puck movement through the neutral is elite for a 4th liner. Constantly making near highlight reel plays driving the puck in with his speed. Problem is he can never finish. Makes many gaffes and gives the puck away a ton. I believe he is worth the investment and is not costing us much currently. Worth the try for a couple more years for sure.
This!!! I've been saying it for a while. And break the first line up, too. Connor and Scheifele are great on the PP, but not so much at 5-on-5. And that's where most of a game will be played. And against better, heavier teams, like Vegas, LA, or Dallas, they are constantly pushed around and not really heard from. And if the first line goes cold, the depth in the bottom 3 lines is not there to consistently pick up the scoring slack.
I hope they are playing Stanley just to trade him for something. Going to be hard to find a 2C and Top 4 D knowing how the Jets are during trade deadline
@@Jklmnopmmmm "I hope they are playing Stanley just to trade him for something. Going to be hard to find a 2C and Top 4 D knowing how the Jets are during trade deadline" thats what it means

I expect to see more of lambo and chib in the second half. Appleton is a key part of one of the most effective lines in the league. I think they are load managing ville. Stanley will sit more in the second half but be playoff available if needed. His toughness is required and the team is not exactly fighting for a playoff spot, they are first in the league. They team is in playoff preparation already
What role are Iafallo, Kupari and Barron performing when they are barely producing? Experience is great, but the fact of the matter is this team is not scoring. The Jets are 30th in goals per 60, 29th in scoring chances created, 25th in expected goals and 25th in shots per 60. Barron has 2 goals, into an empty net in one game, over a month ago. Kupari has 1 goal, over a month ago. And Stanley does not have toughness. That myth needs to be thrown out. He doesn't use his size, doesn't play with an edge, and opposing players are not fearing him. Remember Stanley was on the ice in the Boston game and did nothing to stop Trent Fredric from going after Gustavsson. And the team can't keep wasting games experimenting with him in the line-up. Better players are available to be playing in his place that can help the defense and offense. Being first in the league doesn't erase the problems this team has. The lines aren't balanced and the d-corp is undersized and not deployed properly. And against better teams who will be likely playoff opponents, the Jets are pushed around, like we saw with Vegas.

You act like being in first place absolves this team of all their issues. They are 8-9-1 in their last 18 games. And the main issue behind that is the team"s lack of 5-on-5 scoring. They are 30th in goals scored per 60 min, 29th in scoring chances created, 25th in expected goals, and 25th in shots per 60 min.
So yeah, the fourth line not producing is a problem. The best teams that contend for a cup are able to roll four lines that can provide offense. That's part of what made the 2018 team so good. Constantly having the same line-up with minor changes is not helping anything and won't help this team in the playoffs. When the top line goes cold, there's not enough scoring depth to pick up the slack. And you're not going anywhere when you have 8 shots through 2 periods.
It's well past time to see what other line combinations can work to balance the scoring load.
@pomerlain8924 that was really well said. Thank you for making it that clear
Stanley and Demelo are not NHL players. They stink.
Chib should be second line for life.
Heinola smell ya.
Miller should never be scratched.
I agree with miller. He should be on the 2nd pairing imo
Axel Jonson Fjalby is much better than Kupari and Gustafson can’t fight but he can do so much more than Morgan Baron. Heinola is over rated. He is just too small. DeMello is on for as many GA as Stanley. They should just bring up Salomanson. Was Stanley on the ice when they went 15 and 1?
I don’t usually question lineup decisions cuz what the hell do I know but you’re exactly right. This makes no sense. Stanley has to go.Chibby has to be in there somewhere and Miller play every game
lucky your not part of management, otherwise Jets would be bottom of NHL!!
Id like Stanley a lot more , if he could fight ,....... he cant . ironic that we will never win a Stanley Cup , with that Stanley on our team .
