As a young third basement this helps a lot, thank you for making this
I appreciate greatly the description of the thought process and how that connects to her movement and the reasoning behind it. This is great for my daughter, new to softball!
I played short stop for 9 years! Loved it
Thanks Matt. "Coming down"; another useful tip to share with our girls once we get back on the field.
Great video
I play 10 or 11u I'm not exactly sure because it's different ages but anyway any tips on how to field the ball better when it hops?
Get to the side of the ball and read the hops.
@@dblankenship88 Thanks I'll try that. Now that I think about it reading the hops would really help. 👍
Dude that was awesome! do you know of any drills that I can use to teach this in practice?
I do the hop naturally, like it's my reflexes, not muscle memory.
Do you think most kids can be taught how to be a D1 player or that you either have it or ya don't?
You need to be born with athleticism, but otherwise it is taught.
Haven't been in a field for a year now so I forgot a lot of stuff
Good info, but way too drawn out and the constant replay is frustrating. Keep it short and to the point.
Thanks and sorry about that!
