only reason i would not use fog is because i dont want the ai to be op at far range where they can use their magically ability of seeing through the entire universe to get a perfect shot on me while ignoring the 1000000000000000000000000 other teammates all in front of me leading the charge

Probably a stupid question but is there a mod that allows you to switch between different ai soldiers during a battle?

Indeed there is it's called Player Switcher Mutator

​@@DenoTheDragon Unfortunately, that mod has been broken since EA26's launch. The menus both show empty lists despite having bots in the match.
I would recommend the Player Possession mutator in this case, inspired by Battlefield 1's Storm of Steel mission. While you wouldn't be able to switch on the fly like the other one, it would allow you to switch between ai soldiers whenever you die.
It even prioritize bots in your squad, so you'll always switch to them first. And you can even set it to always spawn with your own gear instead of using the gear of the bot you switched to.
There's a slight problem with it: if you switch to a bot that's not in your squad, you can sometimes end up switching to one that's quite far away from your intended position, which can be quite tedious to get back to.
Other than that, this should serve as an alternative to the Player Switcher mutator.
